Trying to get the steering wheel to turn less. I have wheel degrees in-game set to 450 and still turn it like a big rig truck. I have the switch set to "in-game control." At that 450° setting, I shouldn't have to turn the wheel so much, and coming out of corners, by the time the wheel snaps back to center I am way past my apex.
Under the rF2 calibrate controls section what do you have set? Does the wheel rotation match your wheel driver settings? These are my settings:
On time for this one but a decimal shift in my calculation left me with not enough fuel (25l instead of 29l). Tried to save enough but I realized it too late. Good race, astonishing how good some of you started.
Well, that was definitely a track that isn’t on my favorites list! I don’t know what kind of surface they modeled for that grass, but it’s like driving on ice dipped in butter absolutely zero grip. The second you slide off, braking becomes the last thing you want to do. Every time I even tapped the pedal, the car spun like it was auditioning for a figure skating routine. The worst part? Once it starts twirling, there’s no stopping it, and trying to keep it from sliding back onto the track is a lost cause. Who had the white car out there? Whoever you were, you dodged disaster by millimeters! I was sliding through that chicane completely out of control and missed tagging your rear bumper by what felt like a hair’s width. I swear my heart rate doubled in half a second. After that moment, I learned a little trick just pop the gear into neutral when you’re stuck in the grass. Somehow it helps regain a bit of steering control, enough to line the car back up safely before easing back onto the track. Once I got that figured out, I was already a laps down, so I figured I might as well pit around lap 30 for a fresh set of tires. Best decision I made all race. The new rubber helped settle the car, and I managed to finish without any more wild rides through the scenery. Man, that front-left took an absolute beating, though. It’s always the same with this layout too many heavy corners that just eat that tire alive. Anyway, thanks for the race Ken, everyone. Despite my chaos, it was a blast. See you all next time at Road Atlanta!
I pumped clutch couple times but was late with the idea, Nick was on point. Q dont know where that came from but took it happily! R gave my all, just missing litttle something somewhere. When traffic came, it was game over.
oh i remember once upon a time i almost got a contract with Bad Voices Racing ... it was arround 2018? ...
Yes... that was an interesting choice of direction, I worried coming into the braking zone where you were
i forgot to mention @Daniel Awe I didn't mean to cut your nose off on the straight when you tried going right. I was focused on what looked like a slowing car on the straight on the left who I thought I was lapping, but turned out it was for position. I am trying to find ways to adjust to awful FOV in the mirrors of these cars because right now, the incar mirrors are pretty much unusable in their current state (Can't judge distance of cars behind relying heavily on the spotter).
