950ec072-5eba-4f55-9e5e-e83fb0179dbe.jpg I'll be on the server for a while in a couple of hours from now. I reinstalled rF2 and my wheel rig driver(s). Got work to do retuning it to my liking. It's day two of a freezing cold snap here. -18 was the high yesterday. Another almost -30 tonight and tomorrow. Come and say hi to me. I'll be awake keeping the fire burning in the stove.

Since my steering wheel driver crashed yesterday, I have reinstalled rf2 and the rig's drivers. Now I have noticed a gap in the center of the steering wheel, almost 4%. I set a dead zone of 3% to help keep the wheel centered, but when I reach speeds over 120 kph, the front of the car feels like it is floating and drifting left and right. I need to figure out why this is happening, as it wasn't an issue before. This only occurs with rf2; with raceroom, the center is tight with no play.

During the race, I had a major crash right after the start-finish line when the car lost front traction and slammed into the right side wall, causing the car to come to a stop while I was airborne after the initial impact into the wall, spinning 360 degrees and hitting the wall again. That was the end of the car. LOL.

Great race at the front as I observe the rest of the competition. Congratulations to the podium finishers, see you all at the next race.

I guess you @Daniel Awe asked how to do a proper start with these cars. Toni`s advice was to pump the clutch which basically means, you need to start with selected first gear, release the clutch with the horn and immediately engage it again and release (so that the revs go up). You need to stop this "pumping" at a certain point and voilá
Problem is, it is probably not so easy but my bad start was because confused by the rolling car, basically started without any revs. Four cars had gone by before the first turn

At least it was fun, had some nice battles. No chance to keep Nick behind for any longer, but I tried. Also to catch Kostas but I made too many mistakes by pushing hard. (congrats to both) At least I had enough fuel this time.

If you want to check yourself
