Hi Christian! Havent seen you for a long time. In autumn i had an accident with my right arm, its nearly ok
now and i will race again at SRO in april, when the new GT4 series starts. It would be great if you
could join also. In the meantime i nearly finished my slotcar track and i am thinking about starting
a new slotcar project in old french style, a mix with Reims and Rouen. I give you a note when its
    getting concret.
    Best regards mate!

Sorry to hear about your accident. Get well soon. I haven't made any progress on my track; the attic is very cluttered. I'm also planning to build a track from the era of the old French slots. Are you planning to build a second slot car track?! As for GT4, I don't have AMS2. I've decided to stop following it and try newer games. I recently started playing RF2 again, and it's quite addictive (too much so). I need to make time for my other hobbies and soon for my wife, who will be retiring soon.;):D

Yes mate, i plan a second track. We will live in spain in future, where i will probably have more space. But in summer i will start planing a better track,
my idol is a french manufactor, he does great jobs in slottracks: https://www.trajectoire132.com/
My track should be similar, a bit larger, but will never be so perfect like that :)

I will post a Video of my current track the next days.
    Best regards

That's great, I love it!! I'd love to have one like that, but time, always time... and on my own, it's a bit less motivating. Do you play on your own?

Where are you going to Spain? Are you in Austria at the moment?! It's going to be so different! I know Spain a little, my stepmother is Spanish, we often went to the south of Madrid.

Yes Christian, we drive digital, 2 times a month -3 guys and one ghost car, several classes. Its pretty fun.
The track is unfinished but at 90%. Its a nice layout but too short, unfortunately i have not more space
    at the moment.
I uploaded it for your interest:

I am in Austria yet but we will move to spain. I give you a PM about that.
    Best regards Gerhard

Nice track, I really like the layout. Too often there are tracks with a succession of turns and a majority of corners; I find that unpleasant. You just need a bit more scenery.
A quick photo of mine, a basic track and far from finished. I really don't have much space around it.

Very nice track Christian, i like it a lot. Interesting, you also painted the track grey, i think thats far more realistic.
Track is large IMO and has a good and floating layout. This is an analog track, but which brand?
About the scenics: i found a great manufactor, unfortunately not cheap, but he has many old french models:

Thanks, Gerhard. It must be much smaller than yours! I can't remember, but it must be between 14 and 18 metres long (the plateau is only 4.7 metres long). Yes, it's analogue, it's Polycar, which I chose because the dimensions of the tracks were between those of the other two manufacturers! Scalextric is too narrow, Carrera is too wide and expensive! !

For the moment, there's only one coat of grey paint, but I'll probably add more.

As for the scenery, I don't have enough space for many buildings, mainly vegetation. I hope to find some 3D files to print. I have a filament printer, which is sufficient for this kind of thing in terms of detail.

A few examples, with the only corner I've started decorating! A small structure I printed and some vegetation I collected on the beach or in the forest that will be used to represent trees.

Very good close ups, thank you. The painting is great, you are a good scaler, so you can build some models from
    that site: https://www.carrera4fun.de/
i built one french garage 1:32 from this site, its great, i have done it and will integrate it in my new track:

As so said: 3D printing is a hot topic. Björn has some good adresses for that, maybe he can post it here.
Please finish your track Christian, its a really great concept.

    :) Dear Ken:
I was about to make a joke about English cuisine, but I won't, so as not to jeopardize our friendship.

To continue, here's a small model that's been a long time coming, but was missing a few details: rearview mirror, headlights, windshield wipers...
    ;)
