SIGN UP HERE MOUNT PANORAMA 1967 Early history Prior to European settlement, the area was home to the Wiradjuri people. The Wiradjuri called Mount Panorama Wahluu, meaning "to watch over", and it was an initiation site for young men. According to the Dreamtime, a warrior named Wahluu was killed by his brother in a dispute over a young woman – the bloodspill upset Baiame, who caused a volcanic eruption around Wahluu's body to form the mountain of today. The area's racing history dates back to the 1900s. A man by the name of Dr. Machattie persuaded two local builders to drive from Melbourne to Bathurst- a 793 km (493 mi) drive in his steam-powered Thomson. Various circuits made up of public roads made up of dirt and tarmac were raced on starting in 1906. Until 1913, races took place on the 33.0 km (20.5 mi) Peel-Limekilns circuit, then from 1914 to 1925 the 24.9 km (15.5 mi) Yetholme circuit was used, then the incredibly long 100.6 km (62.5 mi) Sunny Corner (also known as the Mount Horrible circuit) circuit was used from 1926 to 1930 and the 11 km (7 mi) Vale Circuit was used from 1931 to 1937. Construction of the Mount Panorama circuit commenced in mid-1936. The first race meeting, for motorcycles, was held on 16 April 1938 and the first race, the 1938 Junior Tourist Trophy, was won by 20 year old Queenslander Les Sherrin riding a Norton. The first car race, the 1938 Australian Grand Prix, was held two days later and was won by Peter Whitehead driving an ERA. F1 1967 on Historic Mount panorama 67 - rFactor 2

I signed up to join this series. However I know I’m not going to be able to participate at Longford and Clermont. Something about my daughter’s wedding. . . . Anyway, I’ll try to join when I can. Love the track selection and car rotation.
For now the Lotus is pretty much indrivable. Has a 70% front brake bias so it locks up and the front end lefts around every high speed corner and on the straight too. BRM felt ok but a bit dodgy over bumps and the Brabham was difficult but fast and fun.
Did you try the Lotus with the new update V0.68? The handling of all cars has improved all across the board.
Need some help with signups going over 18+ What could help with the number of signups is if you all said something positive about this series on the official rFactor 2 forum. It helps when a forum topic has many comments. That suggests popularity. You only have to say a few words like "Great series" or "I will sign up, great series". https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/formula-1-1967-championship-invite.87440/
I’ve been driving the BT24 and can’t get the mirrors adjusted. All three mirrors are pointed at the ground. I’ve read and tried to apply the instructions given here: https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/mirror-adjustment-guide-and-tips.60593/ With no success. All of the key combinations I’ve tried only adjust the driver’s view point without changing the mirrors. I’m clearly missing something. Suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi Jim, This works for me: First: when you move the seat backwards or forwards, all the mirrors go up or down, depending on the direction. Move the seat to a position where you can see the track behind and the sky in one, so you know where you are before making the changes. - Hit Drive, going to the track - Keep holding down left shift + D or left shift + A for up and down - Keep holding down Left shift + S or Left shift + W for left to right
I have put Mechanical Failures to "Off" on the server. Because engine damage is too sensitive. (Damage to the car still applies)
Thanks for the mirror suggestions, John. I’ll give those a try. And thanks for engine damage adjustment as well.
Hello everyone, I did a few laps on the Round 1 server and I’m getting quite a lot of vibration an bouncing. Are you experiencing the same thing?
On some parts of the track the tarmac is quite rough. The stiffness of the F1 cars emphasises that also. Raising the demper value of your wheel and lowering the FFB strength should help if it really bothers you.
Re: mirrors. My shift keys were assigned to changing the field of view. So as soon as I touched them, it seemed that my driving position started to change. I deleted those assignments, and mirror adjustment works just fine. Re: bumpy track. John’s suggestion is a good one. Don’t make your suspension softer; the car will just wallow and be undriveable. You may even want to make it stiffer.
