:DThank you SRO for hosting a fun :) event on a new to me ;) track with a challenging car :p. I had a blast for 45 minutes even though it was all alone except for seeing the GT Revival cars. Lime Rock Mountain will be a track I want to use sometime soon in an MNRL series along with Fuji '68, Canberra Street Circuit and Montjuic Circuit.

Glad you like it. It's a conversion from an rFactor 1 track I used to race on at Race2Play. I bet Toni Talvitie remembers it too. :)

I came into this race with only eight practice laps under my belt. I was familiar with the track, but I hadn't raced on it since 2014, back at R2Play.
Qualifying made it clear that my battle would be with Julian; keeping pace with Karl—let alone John—was out of the question.
I made a cautious start and tried to stick as close to Julian as possible until he made a small mistake, allowing me to pass him. I realized I had started with far more fuel than necessary—I had begun the race with a full tank.
From that point on, it was a lonely race as I worked on improving my lap times. I realized my setup wasn't quite right; excessive wear on the front-left tire—which caused me to scrape the guardrail—was enough to make me back off, conserve my tires, and maintain consistency until the finish.

Yeah, this track is pretty hard on tyres. I had 62% on the fronts at the end.
Were you also in the multiclass Enduracers at this track on Race2Play?

A very challenging circuit. First I want to apologize to Phil for the dive bomb on lap 1. I wanted to overtake Julien only, but because of Phil's awareness and fair play everything was clean. After that we had a short chase and battle with Phil, and I was like - yess, we gonna repeat Clermont-Ferrand, however, an early mistake by me throwed me out of the battle.

Until the end many people made mistakes and I was able to finish in P3 in class.

Grats to the winners and thanks for the race.

I remember racing on this track at least twice back in the Race2Play days, but I don't remember which category.

One of the series I organised I think :). Loved those cars around that track layout.

We started Sim Racing Online when Race2Play stopped in 2016. We're going strong for 10 years now!
