It was a pleasure to compete with you. Very happy for my first pole position here. Bad start (strage light sistem) and recovery positions. See you soon. Gaetano Gianino
Congrats to Paul, series champion and thanks to Ken and SRO for another great series. As for myself, I can only apologize for any incidents I may have caused because of my crap connection. Without a doubt some drivers think I am a reckless driver and a crasher, but that is not the case. If anything, I am too timid when it comes to wheel to wheel action, as I have been aware of my lag problem for years. I know I had enough speed to have been a contender in this series. On an empty track and without pressure I can hit a decent lap, but once there are others to race with, I just lose my nerve. I am a clean and honest driver, it's just the network lag that is the problem. Perhaps in the future this situation will improve.
Qualy: Not great but in front of Scott and just behind Csaba. Race: The race started very well getting a great start whilst the pole sitter didn't. Csaba and I got a good early gap and began growing this. After a few laps of getting into the rhythm and then I managed to get past Csaba. Pulled out a good gap and then decided to take an early pity stop in the hope of coming back on just in front of Scott. I almost managed this coming out alongside Scott. Braking into T1 I lost the back end and did a half slide. Scott got in front. With Csaba leading and me now in 3rd Csaba would win the series. I had to attack Scott which took me a few laps to do. After Csaba stops I was 14 seconds behind but I knew a 2nd place was good enough for the series win. My first series win here at SRO. Well chuffed as it was a real fight every round. Well done to Csaba and Scott. We all took 2 wins and we all had a least 1 race where we dropped a load of points which set us up for a grandstand finish the way every series should end.
