Sorry Bill, that was me. I took a lot of speed off in turn 2 because I could see on helicorsa you were there, but you came into the apex so sharp that you still hit me.

Congrats to Jukka for the championship and thanks to all people who supported this series !!

Ah, sorry John ... I could not see anyone alongside me. I will do a d/t at the end of the first lap in the next series (hint, hint ;))

Congratulations to Jukka on a fine victory and taking our M2B Championship. Great runs by Mac and Laurent to score most worthy podium positions on this tricky street circuit. Well done.
Rather a fluke P5 for me with Toni hot on my tail for many a lap. Only thanks to the misfortune of others did I manage such a high result.
My battle with Toni kept me on my toes for the entire race. First chasing then leading, I took air over the T1 curb more times than I'd like to admit. Ahem... Pure luck that I didn't shunt off comprehensively.
Thanks for organizing and I'll look at more AC events in the future as I'm still a comparative rookie with the sim. I have it via Steam where it notes that I have some 58 hours invested in it. I log that much in any given week with Grand Prix Legends! LOL!

First of all, congratulations to @Jukka Drugg for his third championship in a row ! I remember the very first round of the championships with these cars. We were both in the Lotus 49 and it was on highlands. I was topping the times in practice. But then Jukka put in a lot of laps (120 laps I think!) and you were up a couple of tenths. I remember then I thought if I would do the same I would also be a few tenths quicker. Then came the race, and Jukka was P1 and I was P2. We drove away from the field but Jukka made no mistakes and I was 5 seconds behind with 3rd place a 45 seconds further down. This is who Jukka is to me. He is in it to win the championship, practices for it, is quick and makes little to no mistakes. Congrats on another well earned championship !

I feel a bit bad ending the championship in P2 because everyone knows @Tim Muttram deserves this spot. On the other hand I am happy with the fact I was on the podium for each round and didn't let these guys run away with it. But still, P2 is for you Tim.

@Phil Brown was always quite fast and sometimes beat me in qualy, certainly a driver I have to look out for. Well done to @Paul Anstey who showed he has the pace with these cars after having to adjust after the first race. You certainly got to grips with these cars.

@Louis Defor who is a fast driver. Too bad you didn't finish a round this time around. Always on the attack, maybe too much. I hope you can work on that and racecraft a bit so we can have nice battles in the future.

@John vd Geest for making this happen yet again. I had a look the other day at how much competitions you take part in. I wish you could have more time to prepare for a race and battle in front. Thanks for this one, it was certainly fun.

@Caitlin Penny for the commentary. It is so nice to have a race coverage. It adds so much more to it. I watched every broadcast right after the race. I wanted to see the battles I had missed and was also curious by what you had to say during the race.

And everyone else who participated and kept it clean. I had just one contact during all the races this championship and it was when Tim collected me after I spun. So I had no race incidents whatsoever and that is very good to know you can race with people without crashing out.

A bit let down with the number of entrants for the series. I reckon old cars are not for everyone, but I sure like them and here is to hoping we can have more of these in the future with a decent amount of entrants. Maybe time for something a bit different ?

I think it's also that it's a midweek day. I think most people can't muster the energie to go racing after they come home from work or even prepair for it.
I also think it's time for something new.

Well done to Jukka for the series win.
Well done to all who took part.

Sorry I couldn't race here. My health let me done again. I really enjoyed these cars. Fantastic fun. The first time I've enjoyed driving anything in AC. Hopefully we can have more series like this using top quality mods which seem few and far between.

    Hello boys,

Of course congrats to Jukka !

I don't know where to post this, don't want to pollute but this is a great day for classic car AC sim racing IMO :

Didn't try it yet, but usually I love what they do.

Not very good and apparently full of ripped models taken without permission. RD have a thread on it. I have already ask for this mod to be included here but that was the response I got from admin. Real shame as the models look fantastic but the few I've driven are pretty dull :(

I'd like to get some other peoples thoughts on this after they have spent some time driving this mod. :)

Wow, yes, looks like there is quite a discussion ! I still didn't try it, but most of the [Bazza's work/recollection/assembly and other people involved in, or people who did work on previous things which have been utilised here] did satisfy me very well. Of course I'm not able to pretend each car to be as realistic as possible, but they look believeable to me, and after all it's always the same story : even when Kunos makes a car, we want it to be as realistic as possible, but most of the time we can't assume it is, we just judge it's believeable enough, very much or quite poorly.
Some people seem to have a lot of fun with it still. Let's try, wait and see. :)

Was so busy last couple of weeks that I didn't had time to even read the forum and I only saw this message about 15min before race. Really sucks you wasn't there Tim, would have been nice to have final battle of season with you. I expect you would have shine here since it was mostly slow corners where your amazing drifting skills would have fit well. Also shame Mac didn't join whole season since he seemed to have excellent pace. I was really nervous whole week even I had good cap with points since this track had much slow corners like Montjuich did and I didn't had great pace there. Tried to minimize the risks for gremlins by not use my motion simulator since I have had problems with it lately and didn't want anything to disturb my concentration on this very dangerous track since one little mistake can lead to dnf. Also this track has really nasty curbs with motion simulator so even if everything would work fine those curbs would have disturb concentration. After qually I was little less nervous since I noticed I had good pace here. Managed to get good start this time and went to lead. Mac was really fast and kept the pressure on really well on me for long time. Could get couple of seconds gap to him and after he made mistake the pressure relieved a lot. Thou this track itself keeps pressure because its really easy to dnf here.

I think this might have become my favourite car, thank you John for pointing this car out earlier when we were talking about which cars to race with. Absolutely joy to drive. Thank you for making this championship happened. Thank you Tim for making the skins so we could pick this car for championship and excellent battles through the season and battle on championship. Thank you Caitlin for making it feel really special with excellent commentary. Thank you for everyone I had excellent battles through the season (Laurent, Louis, Mac and everyone at start of Montjuich). And thank you for everyone that participated this great championship, let's bring friends along next time around to get participation higher :) Thank you everyone for congrats :) This wasn't easy season to get championship for sure after loosing first two rounds to Tim and being 5th on second round on qually. Things looked really tough on that point. I had to put everything in it and practice a lot. Laurent is correct on me being competitive through lots of practice. I think if anyone does not do any practice (including me) I have no chance to be this competitive since I am quite slow to find fast pace and require lots of practice. It amazes me when someone only practices couple of laps and gets to my pace immediately... I think that is really a talent
