I can tell you, from my point of view being part of the paddock club and being able to test all the builds over the last several months as they come out the game has been transformed, our bi- weekly MP tests have shown nice improvements over the original mp code and should provide us with some great online championships here at SRO .. My last mp test was 17 of us in a GT3 night race at Sebring club, it blew my mind .. firstly it ran smooth as silk on my system, the car psychics & tire model improvements have brought this sim to life like never before, not quite up to LMU’s over all feel but the next best thing for me ( thats just my opinion as to me, the gmotor rF2 / LMU car feel is the best in sim racing) .. anyway , add the fact that with AMS2’s new sky boxes and over all graphics updates it’s visually stunning now especially at sunset & night time .. not that it wasn’t before but its now less cartoony , more like what i see with LMU with some parts being better like the car lights at night ( not for vr users who still have frame issues with headlights in the mirrors ) but the overall look is very believable for sure! It wont be long now until 1.6 is released & your milage may very but for me i have been enjoying the updates!
They really screwed the pooch with that "Exclusive Review" lol, to bad .. They looked unrepaired and were roasted in the live chat, it was toxic at best lol.. They tried to stream over 2 platforms at once Twitch and YT and ended up with a max 720p @30 fps on YT .. I Don't know about Twitch but I heard it was the same or worse .. It didn't do the game justice at all .. and, it has now been "unlisted" or basically removed to not cause any further damage ..lol .. I couldn't watch the whole thing ..However, I did find myself mesmerized, unable to un-watch it .. like a big train wreck or something lol It was not the game or gameplay, that was fine, blurry but fine lol. It was the presentation and lack of knowledge about the features .. Nothing to see here, move along .........
