More Information Drivers! The SRO AC Evo server is live for testing! For any of you who own the game in EA, here is a server for you to test out how the MP is coming along. Its an open lobby with 32 slots that will be up 24/7 for the next few weeks. For this week, moving on from the BMW vrs. Porsche, we will now be testing the two GT2's along with the Merc & the Maserati, combined with the Lambo Huracan EVO2 & Ferrari 488 Challenge EVO Let us know how it goes for you & enjoy the racing! If we have enough players with the game we can make the server private but for now its a stress test to see how she goes! We also have the ability to change regions as we go so let us know how the ping is for you, and we can adjust to get the best possible experience for everyone!
Have any of you spent any time in it? It drives really well! I think it's my new fav lol it just feels right.. They don't have any BOP yet, so some cars in the same class are 3-4 seconds faster. 911 vrs the M4, I was on the server testing & took both cars out. My best was 1:19's in the M4 but 1:24's is my best in the 911 ..could be set up, maybe someone with the skill can get the porker around.
I just realisied the Porsche 911 GT3 cup is in the cup class so not even close to the GT3's The M4 has over 1 ton of downforce while the cup car has a few hundred kilos at best and mostly on the rear Still a fun combo!
Ok we're moving on from the BMW vrs. Porsche and now have a 4 car combo going. I was told by the devs that these cars are all within a second of each other, lets just see which car is the fastest of the 4! We have the 2 GT2's, the AMG Merc GT2 , and the Maserati GT2, then the Ferrari 488 Challenge EVO, and the Lambo Huracan EVO. Track is Spa: 15 min practice 6 min Q 20 min races on the simracingonline server!
So far, I have done the Merc AMG, Maserati & the Ferrari, 2 stand out, one is strong like Bull and the other is like a sewing machine, (but an obnoxious sewing machine!) lol that thing has 7 whiney gears (Ferrari) while the Maserati has the thunder! It reeks of power! lol so depends on what you like .. all 3 are quick .. If anyone gets a good timed lap post it here..
Lets see some cars / lap times.. I drove all the cars yesterday. Best I could muster was a 2:22.xxx ..I got that with the Maserati & also got in the 22's with the lambo .. The lambo & Ferrari both have that high-pitched sewing machine gearing / engine scream and shorter gears! If a few of us get on the server, it will fill up ..
