Doh ..totally blew the start..& did not even see the rollover contact Lap1 until I watched the broadcast back ..Rookie mistakes ..lol Oh well, at least I figured out what caused the lag hits towards the end & will have a much better result next round!
I think you forgot to click the bit in the overlay which shows the timing and laps above the standings on the left? Got it sorted for race time though
Thanks Neil, Ya I'm still trying to figure out most of it ... I had the timing up but every time the small Add's banners would rotate it gave a lag spike so in the end I turned them off & on to try & limit the lag spikes, I also like how you can auto scroll the info on the tower /position overlay to show pit stops, tire type, gap to leader ect. cool stuff Now if I could just figure out how the replays works You prob saw my posts at 397. I got a reply on how to do it but it still makes no sense to me LOL .I tic the R button when the race session starts & have a preset of like 20 secs for replay in game settings. I hit the start replay event or whatever it's called and the little times starts then i hit the actual replay button but it's never where I expect it to be lol. I was messing with it before the broadcast & decided not to even try, I could keep hitting the 'play replay' button and it would go back and show stuff but not where I needed it to start from & there's no documentation from 397 about how it is supposed to work so just need time to mess with it some more. Sorry you had a rough go in the race. For the most part these races are really clean but S#*t happens & you can't be perfect every time & I Know the other driver feels bad about it. Sometimes you're the hammer, sometimes you're the nail . lol Hope you decide to stay with the series!! At least give it one more chance
I'm still unsure how the replay thing works, thankfully I have never needed to use it because I'm always in realtime. I think the overlay has always lagged if it's the game overlay rather than an OBS browser source which is what I use.
I have been experimenting with those as well lol.. seems it prefers PNG and they need to be sized proper unless you doing them in OBS ..here are some to mess with
Its the small Right add's that attach to the timing overlay in the rf2 broadcast software you set in the cfg .. in trackside view it would hang/lag every time they rotate ..I had the FKR and the G.E.A.R logos rotating .. This never happened in the other rf2 broadcasts I did & it only seems to happen in trackside cam ..
