Hi, I tried the mod and in find out I can´t adjust steering lock, which is set at 40, and it´s undriveable for me with my wheel. It´s like driving on the keyboard. Do you guys have same problem?
It might be a wheel issue possibly as I had no problems when testing with my T300RS. What wheel and settings do you use, both inside and outside AMS Ales?
I have the old legend Logitech Momo Racing Wheel. Thing is that I can adjust steering lock in any other car in AMS, so don´t know what is the trouble.
I can´t change the lock as well so thats the same for all, only the rotation but as for Ken I have no problems with the default value auf 42 as lock and 560 or something degree as rotation. But actually there was a way for me to change the lock anyway. By playing arround with the SVM file suddenly I was able to do it in game. But I doesn´t felt any difference. Probably you should try that by yourself.
What model of Momo wheel is it as there was more than one? Do you have a Logitech wheel driver installed in Windows for it? Can you set the wheel rotation value in the driver before going into the game? I've just loaded AMS and my default lock setting is 15 AND I can change it to anything between 10-38 degrees, but not 40?? So I'm not sure where that value is coming from? Are you sure you've loaded a Radical SR3 and not a BAC Mono which comes in the same pack?
Thats my view with a SR3 Radical as default and you can see what he said, a value higher than 38 After loading my test set up it is the same behaviour you described. Strange.
I got Ed Jones to check his settings as he has a different wheel to me. In AMS he gets exactly the same range of lock adjustment that I do 10-38 degrees. Philipp what wheel and driver to you have installed? Ales can you please let us know the answer to these questions I asked?
Philipp, Ales I have 15-38 range as well (15 is default), both on the radical and mono, did you install the cars for this event? Another thing, I guess the server needs an update as AMS was updated yesterday and SRO is not visible in MP.
Automobilista v1.5.13 is now out - includes Goiania External Ring & updated Imola! V1.5.13 features a bunch minor fixes and updates that have been compiled since the last release, in preparation for the release of new cars in the coming weeks. Interesting!
G29 newest drivers, but as I said no problem for me. I tested the radical in Mas du Clos and it felt right, even with the odd lock. Maybe the problem will disappear if I had joined the sever, I tested in a practise session. Apart from that, it was not my aim to confuse you, especially because I have to miss the first two races of this series.
I was more interested in the steering lock that you said you had in the default setup, which should be the same for everyone irrespective of the wheel in use. Thanks for the info Philipp
Hi guys, I have this wheel, aswell driver for it. True is, in any different car there is no problem to adjust steering lock except Radical. Strange. I tried to join server today but it was not on list because of update. Don´t think I will be able to test it tomorrow. On monday I hope.
If you disconnect your wheel and then load AMS with the Radical car, what does your Garage default page show for the steering lock?
Well, I tried to join server, connect and disconnect wheel, but nothing change. I still cannot adujst steering lock. I also tried a couple of others cars in offline and online, no problem. Everywhere I can adjust it. Strange. I will have to sign out from the series and wait for different mod, as radical not very well driveable with my wheell and 42° lock. See you at least in rF1 guys. Cheers
Did you do as I suggested? Disconnect the wheel and leave it disconnected. Start AMS offline Choose the Radical car and go to any track. Whats does it say for LOCK in the garage menu with the default setup?
