    Hello all

Just joined - said my hello's in the general forum but thought I'd post a hello here as well as I drive ACC obviously. I signed up for the ACC series with a bit of hesitation as I was still barely managing 30m races. Driving is improving but racing is a bit behind so obviously I need to train hard.
Then Saturday I saw this recent video from Driver61:

The first point hit me hard. That is exactly me. I spent all morning thinking about this and when I sat down saturday afternoon for training, something happened. I was in the Ferrari at Nurnburgring, aggessive setup, just doing practise. I started driving and I had decided not to be unsure any longer - to drive until I felt the limit - because I can feel it. I know what it is now. I have driven this car so much, I know the sounds. In that mindset, with very few exceptions and errors, I found 2-5 10ths of a second on every single turn - for an amazing 8 laps. It just kept getting better and better - after lap 6 I was completely over the moon.
    Sunday and Monday - 3 1 hour races. 15#, 8# and 1# - pitstops and AI at 92% and I normally drive against 88.
I think the penny just dropped.

I must say I get the best feeling out of ACC compared to the other sims as far as what the car is doing and what I would expect the car to do :D

What a difference in experience you guys have compared to mine. I have absolute no sence of what the car is doing. Oversteer is sudden withou any feel of what is coming. The amount off dive and roll is absurt and blocking the view trough the front window. I just gave up on this disaster. Maybe it's wheel related, as Kunos had problems with the Thrustmaster T500rs.

Ahh yes I have just herd Aris talking about players claiming they "cant feel what the cars is doing" and the over steer issue some claim .. in this vid/stream looks like hes using a T500. Just watching this stream I took 2 seconds off my times at spa ! and I now totally understand what's happening when you are beyond the grip and start to feel like you don't feel what the car is doing and why it feels like that and how to stay away from it ....
If you have the time at least watch up to that point ..its fantastic stuff from Aris!

Totallly agree. Also improved a lot just watching this. Pressures was a thing I was used to touch barely. How could I live before with simmetrical set ups ??? Lol. Don,t know if it's in this video but he mentioned that they are going to simulate the effects of the hight in circuits like kyalami. Awesome.
Btw I think he is using a dd from fanatec.

Looks like the DD1 PS4 version with the blue F1 rim. Same as their licensing manager - he posted a picture from his racing lair with Suzuka showing on his monitor :)
