Gonna sign up for this one, it falls on my Saturday off work which is useful (less tired that way ) Depends on how much work I have to do on the F1 season which of course is much more difficult (for me anyway) and will require more practice. See how this goes....
Presenting the #55 livery Took a little inspiration from some real LMP3 liveries but otherwise my own creation as usual. Dark blue on carbon background. Ok, I'll promise I'll start practicing now! lol Good luck to everyone in this league. Will be interesting as I've never driven any of these tracks.
No you're ok. I just love designing so I sometimes (but not always) create my own on SRO. You are free to use the ones with the mod
Thank's Ken It was fun to create that one. RF2 is a mix at the moment of cars with the new region maps and those without so they all require slightly different MAS approaches but the end result looks good I think. I just need to work on doing the livery justice and get some good results! lol Will be interesting to see if Studio 397 get the deal to do the 2020 LMP3's. They look really good too. Whether it's because the cars are smaller but the rear fin just looks less "stuck on" with these cars too. Hopefully all three chassis will stick around. I seem to remember the Ginetta died a bit of a death when the other two makes just hammered it from a performance point of view. The Adess (which was the Norma) The Ginetta. ...and the 2020 Ligier. Loving the new front aero.
Looks like a website update. Yes they were there before. For this league not a problem but the F1 league requires it as it was oversubscribed. EDIT: Dots are back! lol
There were some changes made to the car package data in our system which created the red-lit confusion. We have been working on a fix for it which should resolve it completely.
A couple or three years back I dabbled in creating some BVR Team skins, but I've dropped behind the curve now with the changes and wouldn't even know what a Region map is unless it referred to a geographical atlas!
Yeah it's a bit of a mix at the moment for sure. S397 did this nice little addition to RF2 which allows models to have various layer/material effects applied to the them. Once these are added; these various regions or layers allow you to change the appearance of the materials on the car. So shiny, matt, satin, etc. The trick one is a region layer that allows metallic paint (with a custom lacquer colour over the top), you can create almost pearlescent colour changing paint if you wish, with size of flakes, etc. There are five (if I remember) and these are set via a separate region DDS file, and you adjust them in real time via a web link in your browser which is cool too. However the original model needs to have these layers created otherwise it won't work at all. At the moment really only the official S397 cars (I think) are the only cars that do. The only other mod I know of that has it is the RSS IMSA mod as the Mazda's have the metallic Soul Red paintwork and Chrome. Of course if you don't wish to use this feature you don't have to. It can be hard work though (as the game generates files which can stop changes working for example).

Sorry @Ken Jagger I’ve had to sign out of the Zhuhai round. I’ve got some building work going on in the house and I’ve had to take apart and move my racing rig to the other side of the house. it’s still in bits at the moment. No spare TV or monitor makes it difficult to even practice let alone race so I’m stuck. Sorry, I think the work is going on for four weeks but hopefully I’ll be back for the next one. Shame as I’m enjoying driving this car.
