Assetto Corsa Car Number Allocations

If you have read some of the previous topics you will know that Personal Car Skins are allowed in this series and that Sim Racing Holland have a 24/7 (ish) dedicated practice server set up which will attempt to replicate the SRO server so that whichever server you are on you will have the same skin allocated, whether it is a personal skin a standard Kunos skin or an RRL skin.
In order to do this I think it would be wise to Enter your requested car number in this thread so there are no clashes.
Allocated numbers so far are:
#0 = Pasha Paterson - Personal Skin
#7 = Chris Hill - Personal Skin
#9 = Tim Meuris - Personal Skin
#12 = Bart Zweerink - Personal Skin
#13 = Simon Pike - Personal Skin
#24 = Philipp Pichler - Personal Skin
#42 = Roel Postma - Personal Skin
#49 = Norman Bruce - Personal Skin
#56 = Rob Milliken - Personal Skin
#65 = Frans van der Linden - Personal Skin
#72 = Dzintars Raits - Personal Skin
#74= Jacopo Zaninelli - Personal Skin
#75 = Stefano Pedrinazzi - Personal Skin
#82 = Patrick de Louw - Personal Skin
#85 = Michiel van Leeuwen - Personal Skin
#91 = Karl Steeg - Currently Default Skin 91
#96 = Steve Olden - Default Skin 96

 

Hi Ken. They refer to the number boards on either the side of the car or the windscreen. As a few people will be having personal skins we think there is a need to control them.

 

@Ken Jagger the default cars numbers will NOT be altered!!!
These numbers only refer to the personal skins as Chris said!

Yes that is correct Ken. What I have done on our server is put all of the custom skins in first then make up the 24 cars with default skins and move these to the top of the list so anyone joining who doesn’t have a custom skin will get a default skin guaranteed. If you wish I can send you a copy of our current config file as an example. Let me know.
Oh and don't worry as I am still learning too. Half of the guys didn't have their skinned cars the other night because I had made a mistake ........shhhhh don't tell them

How should I add my own skins?

 

Post to the custom skin thread and they'll be added to the pack for the next race. The deadline for race 1 has passed.

 

but can I create a new team or do I need to replace the skin of one of the existing teams?

 

You're racing for Semper Ludens, correct? You can certainly make a livery for your own team. Take a look at the skin pack for round 1 to see what the other teams have done. And if you need help, there are a lot of talented folks in the group who might be able to assist you.
