It only supports 4 players in online mode as far as I can see, not having installed/run it yet myself. "There are over 30 stages of full rally racing from the official 2020, 2021, and 2022 Dakar Rally races with officially licensed vehicles, teams, and pilots across multiplayer and single-player modes. You can compete in online multiplayer for up to four players in two game modes, Online Custom Play that allows you to create a more customized online session, and Online Quick Play that allows you to create a new multiplayer session or join an ongoing session by only having to choose a vehicle category and a vehicle."
