My ECCI-wheel + pedals are perfectly recognized by my Windows 10 PC. They are visible as a HID in the control panel and I can perform the calibration just fine. But .... when I start rFactor 2, the wheel is NOT detected as a controller. I already read a solution online where there was suggested to make a json-file yourself and entering USB=#048E000D in the line DeviceName 1. Seems to work for others with the same issue, but not for me. Anyone an idea on how I can solve this problem? Would love to do some laps/races online again. TIA for your help and input.
Looks like help already came on Facebook. I had the box "Generic controller support" in Steam Big Screen mode ticked. Unchecking it and it looks like the wheel now is detected by both rFactor 2 and Assetto Corsa and I have controle back.
Yes Nigel. Now I need to dust of the gear and replace one more pot. The brake-axis is moving by itself ....
