So I finally got a Sim-Lab GT1 rig. And I must say WHAT A DIFFERENCE! I have never sat in a sim-rig this rigid! If you haven't got a good rig, get one of these. As some of you know last week my wheel went up in smoke. Since it was still under warranty I got a new replacement. Just tested it and it leads me to believe that the "old one" had issues from the start. This one is exactly the same but feels and drives like a whole other beast. I used the same setting btw. Be advised, times will improve (or so I hope) Next investment will be an OSW wheel
Haha, no mate. Its just that I started doing this Sim-racing in earnest about a year ago using "old stuff". Now because I decided to keep on doing this it was time to upgrade. One needs good tools do to a good job
That looks real nice. I like the simple design and a nice platform if you want to customize it and build your own hardware add-ons. Good investment if you are a sim junkie.
I did copy all the best parts of that rig, including the free standing triple monitor and made it all to my specs. Ordered almost all the materials at Motedis and only the adjustable wheel brackets at Sim Lab.
wow just had a look at the sim lab stuff way to expensive, my wife would kill me if I spent that much money ... the motedis site looks reasonable though
The price on the site was not what I payed for it And since i'm not married my partner has ni say over what I do with my money (or so I like to think)
