Registration *** SIGN UP HERE & CAR AND TRACKS DOWNLOAD DOWNLOAD BASELINE SETUP WELCOME TO THE ALFA ROMEO 155 V6 SUMMER SERIES In this series we will be driving the classic, 4 wheel drive all-dominating Alfa Romeo 155 V6 from 1992 that race in several series as the DTM, BTCC and the Italian Turismo championship. The tracks have been chosen as a fun factor that will give great driving pleasure with what this car can do. It has been developed for rFactor 2 by "Simdrivers" who have given us a high-quality car that drives and feels fantastic. As a 1992 touring car, it has no driving aids like TC or ABS, so it all comes down to the driver's input to get the most out of this car. Alfa Romeo 155 V6 Specs ************************************************************************ Start procedure How does each race start? The race starts with a standing start **************************************************************** No-shows (keeping the entry list real) If a driver does not show without unregistering for that event or letting us know that he can't make it on the event forum, he will be removed from the series. If he is no longer interested in the series, it's fine like it is. If he forgot about the event, he can sign up for the series again. (You don't have to unregister for the whole series. You can unregister only for the event you can't do.) **************************************************************** No Esc. on track rule in Qualification In qualification, you can not press Escape (Esc.) while on track (if you crash) and then go back out again. If you want to do another run, you have to come into the pits first. This is to protect the other drivers from someone taking abnormal risks to set a good lap time and crashing (other cars). **************************************************************** Teamspeak Teamspeak is one of the features of Sim Racing Online. If you would like to hook up with other drivers on Teamspeak before the race (or any time), here is the forum link for the SRO Teamspeak address and password: https://www.simracingonline.co.uk/threads/teamspeak-ip-address-password.19/ For those who are not familiar with Teamspeak, you need to add the Sim Racing Online channel to your "bookmarks". Please consider making a small monthly donation between € 2 to € 5,- to help us with the monthly server costs. Remember that Sim Racing Online is run by a private group of people, paying everything out of their own pockets. Thanks in advance !!
The features Car Setups and Fuel Calculator are now available to all members. That means for donators and non-donators. You can find "Car Setups" on the home-page menu bar and the "Fuel Calculator" on every event page.
Proposal for the final round (and maybe other rF2 champs after). Long Beach was particularly bright at midday, turn 1 was just a mass of white until I was on top of it. The dedi server only sets race start time. Practice, qually and warmup start times are set in the player.json before the game was started. "-1" might be a good option if you have a preset rfm to use when making rfmods. I also propose that the default time for gridding is increased. Maybe to at least 60 seconds? Giving people time to set setups, get on the grid, check where the lights and flagman are... and getting ready Multiplayer.json tweak:
To be honest, you are the first and only one who ever raised objections about the current settings. So, with all due respect, I'm not going to change the server default start times. Lengthening the gridding time to 60 seconds is however a good idea and I will submit it to my colleagues.
It was just the circuits chosen recently that we literally blinding. Maybe it doesn't affect those much in pancake mode, I'm not sure.
