WELCOME TO THE FORMULA ONE 1967 INFO PAGE

For this series, we are using the rFactor Formula One 1967 mod from Chiefwiggum, available on Steam.

    From the developer, Chiefwiggum:
My F1 1967 mod is deliberately designed to replicate a Grand Prix Legends (GPL)-like driving experience.
Near the limit, the cars have very narrow operating windows and low tolerance for driver errors.
Excessive steering, throttle, or braking inputs quickly destabilise the car.

When driven smoothly and with controlled inputs, the cars remain manageable and consistent.
The transition between stable grip and loss of control is intentionally sharp and clearly defined.

The goal was for a bad car to also feel bad to drive – not just slower.
Driving errors have immediate dynamic consequences.

    ****************
In this series, we will use the original points-scoring system of Formula 1 in 1967.
    1st place = 9 points
    2d place = 6 points
    3d place = 4 points
    4th place = 3 points
    5th place = 2 points
    6th place = 1 point

    ****************
I have done my best to include some original racetracks from the 1960s era, and that worked out quite well.
Some tracks have never been in rFactor 2 and will make their debut in rFactor 2 on Sim Racing Online. Those are: Mount Panorama 67, Clermont Ferrand 65 and Watkins Glen 65.
To come later is Fuji 1970 instead of Brands Hatch, but that track isn't quite finished yet.

    ****************
Momentarily March 23, 2026, these cars are available in the Formula One 1967 mod:
    Lotus 49
    Ferrari 312
    Cooper T81
    Brabham BT24
    Honda RA300
    BRM P83/P115

There are 6 rounds. To avoid too many of 1 car model on track (25x Lotus 49 ) and for the purpose of car variation, we will rotate cars each round.
That means that you will take a different car for each race. See the cars options above.
If more cars are released in this 1967 mod, like the Eagle, I will update the pack and you are free to choose the new cars as well.

All cars in this pack have their own physics, sound and personalities, and with the rotation system, all strengths and weaknesses are levelled out.

    RULES & REGULATIONS - link

    Weather
    Variable.

No Esc. on track rule in Qualification

In qualification, you can not press Escape (Esc.) while on track (if you crash) and then go back out again.
If you want to do another run, you have to come into the pits first.

This is to protect the other drivers from someone taking abnormal risks to set a good lap time and crashing (other cars).

    ****************************************************************
    How does each race start?

Every event will have a standing start.

    ****************************************************************
    Custom skins

You can use custom skins for all cars in this series.
