Yes it will, because UK/Europe & other parts of the world following the same Summer Time switching, change to GMT next weekend 30/31 Mar. The first race in this series is not until 28th Apr. USA has already switched to SST of course.
Well I’ve signed myself up. Hopefully I’ll have new pedals by then. The LMP900 class is tough though. So many gorgeous cars. I have many fond memories of watching about 8 333SP’s going around Donington Park. Can’t remember the exact name of the championship now. Sports car World Series or something like that. The rest of the field were mainly privateer cars and stood no chance. Lol. They sounded amazing though. I enjoy modern as well as older race cars but those were pretty special.
Come on guys there has to be more than 10-20 members here at SRO with PC2 in their library, willing to give this series a try!
I'll put a pre-race test server up on Saturday starting at 16:00 GMT for 3-4 hours, so get on it and give it a try.
@Ken Jagger will this series still be multi class as originally planned or will it be a 60 minute GTE series because of the low turnout?
We require a minimum of 3 drivers per class in any series to go ahead with the race. In the case of MC events, then if there are less than 3 in a class we will not allow it to run. In those cases it makes sense to allow members to switch from an under-supported class to one that is, hence what I did at COTA by moving to GTE. Also as then there were only 5 drivers who were on the server, it was agreed to reduce the race distance to 60m, as 90m with 5 cars is just a snorefest. If we get the same low turnout numbers in LMP900 at the next race, it may well be appropriate to make it a GTE series only, although we already have enough GT3/GTE series running as it is, so I'd prefer not to if possible.
