The events here are getting me to have another focus on setting up rF2 but i have to say there is alot about it that i struggle with, especially when in the car it feels like rF1 with the same HUD. With the standard rfactor hud isnt there supposed ot be a rev counter? Yeah, great the wheel in game is fully working but the with triples i dont get to see it! I've spent more time constantly going into th settings and out again with this game than actually trying to drive on track. You dont seem to be able to change the steam huds when in a session and the pictures on steam dont really help either..
Maybe you don't have the Tach enabled when using the default HUD? This info may help https://forum.studio-397.com/index.php?threads/default-keybindings.51526/
I use the app on Google play/apps called Sim Dashboard. I put this on a old phone and velcro and magnets hold it on top of my steering wheel, next to my screen. Sometimes I'm not able to read the RPMs or the mph of the older vehicles and this comes out very handy. I also use it for the newer vehicles like the LMP's and the GT's. Kind of late to this post but I hope you found one that you liked!
I stopped searching on the next day. Played around little with those dashboards on 2nd monitor. Didnt use it in the end, gave the monitor to my son. Basically i just want simple realtime delta. Most useful when take corners with different lines / gear. After rF1 monsterhud, cant remember the name, where there was every possible info on screen and game kinda run on background, ive become a minimalist
There alot on steam apps but you have to keep loading into a track to see them, with no real idea which ones are which. Plus these are additional ones, i was really talking about the rf1 style default hud which actually just looks so dated.
