SIGN UP HERE WELCOME TO THE MINI COOPER 1961 TIME TRIAL SERIES This is a Time Trial (TT) series over 6 events. All pretty long tracks that will make it an adventure and challenging to set a good lap time on. The car of choice is the Mini Cooper 1961 from developer Bugs66. The Mini Cooper is a car that is very well suited for long Time Trials as it is very controllable and relatively easy to handle. Apart from that it is pretty fast and nimble in the corners. All and all a good candidate to throw around on a long track. TT Procedure Effectively the procedure is that we use the Qualifying session of an event. The TT session will be private, so you will see no other cars on track, but we all do the TT together at the same time. The TT session will be over on completion of the total number of laps. For example; if the Qual (TT) session is set for 4 laps, you have 4 laps (including the warmup lap) to set your best time. Points Points are awarded for each event in order of the place you finish. It's like a qual session with points. The TT schedule will be like this: 1. Targa Florio = 1 lap / no warmup lap needed. The timer starts on the out-lap 2. Dundrod = 4 laps / including a warmup lap 3. Isle Of Man = 1 lap / no warmup lap needed. The timer starts on the out-lap 4. Eifel Sudstrecke = 4 laps / including a warmup lap 5. Nurburgring 1967 = 3 laps / including a warmup lap 6. Dundrod Reverse = 4 laps / including a warmup lap
