simracingonline have a new payment system where you can use your debit, credit card also Google Pay. There is also Klarna please do not use that unless you have an account with them or you will get an error message. We have decided not to use Klarna.
Just as feedback, for someone who does not own a creditcard/google pay or has no intention to open a bank account in Lithuania, it has become a bit cumbersome to pay/donate. If I understand that correct, the easiest of the cumbersome options is to create a google pay account and connect my paypal with it. (Not sure if that really works, I might try that in the future) Maybe the problem disappears next year, when my bank could replace the girocard/vpay debit cards, that are not compatible with the offered payment methods.
I do understand Philipp. The big reason why we changed from paypal there fees with Stripe the fees are much less. Amazon,Google,WhatsApp and many major retailers use Stripe, This is just in case members have not herd of Stripe.
I understand that as well, I also not a big fan of that paypal monopoly, even though it is comfortable and has no such extensive terms as revolut, it certainly has a high price tag. Unfortunately, the described edge case cannot be solved by Google Pay either. So it is what it is, at least for now.
