WELCOME TO THE TRANS AM 2 2022 CHAMPIONSHIP

Storm Gang Simulation is proud to present for rFactor2: Trans Am TA2. Built from the ground up with input from Howe Racing Enterprises, Katech Engines and drivers like 2021 TA2 Rookie of the Year, Rhett Barkau, Mike Skeen, Guy Cosmo, Dylan Archer, Tyler Kicera and more. Their incredible feedback helped ensure this is the most realistic TA2 mod ever!

    Chevy Camaro:
Based on the 2022 model, this car runs with the LS3 based power plant for its default ride. An overall good engine and well handling car, this has the best of both worlds for power and control.

    Ford Mustang:
Based on the 2022 production car, the Ford Rousch engine is stuck in the front giving great response and confident handling.

    Dodge Challenger:
The famous Hemi from Mopar is almost a memory, grandfathered in through a minority of select engine rebuilders. The Challenger retains the most consistent looks which herald back to its 70's roots. Only minor cosmetic updates have been given to this icon. Expect fast top end speed to be the advantage when running this classic.

    Release notes and features:
    - 2022 liveries from the TA2 series
    - Rain and slick Pirelli hybrid radial/bias ply tire options
    - Brake lights but no working headlights (per regulation)
    - Each car features the bespoke manufacture engine and Choice option engine
    - Four ~500 HP engines with varied power curves for unique performance
    - Chassis geometry is modeled on real life dimensions and variations between models.
    - Mirrors can be wing or spot. Spot mirrors have a very minor increase in drag for an increased rear view. Wing mirrors are forced in the Australian series.
    - Full damage modeling. Nearly every panel can be torn off the car.
    - Full PBR exteriors and cockpits
    - Customized SGS AiM telemetry unit and interiors
