Not Simracing still a lot off fun

As a model builder for a great part off my life mostly military , just thought I could share some off my recent work in scale model racing car.
One old Airfix 1/32 scale Aston Martin that I finished last year . after been laying around for some years in box.

Really nice paintwork. Ive tried this and found im just too short fused.

 

I've got a couple of these (F1) waiting to be built. They've been waiting for 20 years or more but maybe one day . . .

On the work bench seens Januari due to a severe water leak in the 50 year old house .
hope to get going soon again . and leave the amateur "carpenter plumber painter work"
and " insurance company problem"

By coincidence also a 2008 year winner this time Super GT Serie Winner in Japan
here I went bananas with lots off option things

Mostly work om the driver compartment so far, some own mods done here


Waiting for the bodywork and many detail will never be seen again

Going back to my roots been thinking about it for awhile now
Couldn´t resist at last , during the 90`s I was a RC Car driver competing in 2WD 4WD Off Road 1/12 carpet and Pro 10 on tarmac. Just had to see if I still got it
This will not be a runner , it will be a bookshelf racer those off you that race with me in PC2 GT3 Race know where this is going.


So lets see how close we can get it

Ok long time no see . The Nissan is ready after some 132 water transfers it was crazy
even though I use decal fix and softeners it was not perfect
But here is the end result

well, I've had to slow down simracing quite a bit since I started modelling again. And I'm going to reduce it more and more.
I have to say that concentrating on the screen for more than an hour (not counting training) is increasingly hard on my eyes, especially in the evening... it's hard to sleep afterwards...

 

AMG Report chassi all done now , couldn´t resist on some option parts even though I shouldn´t do
but my old RC habit/ hart took over .

So now we have to await some parts from " Down Under" mm any day now .
Until then , enjoy some humble work
