Several protests were filed after the DTM Silverstone race. Please read the following carefully and remember these penalties for the next race. No penalties were given for the Silverstone race but the stewards will not be so kind at future events. If you are not completely aware of cars around you then make sure you leave room for other cars when you turn in. After watching the replay it was obvious that maneuvers were being made without regard to other drivers along side. Rough driving will result in a penalty. If found guilty of rough driving you will start from the pit lane at the next event. Please use your mirrors! When coming back onto the track please make sure the track is clear. There were drivers coming back on track and hitting cars as they pass, causing substantial damage. This will not be tolerated and could result in a race ban. If found guilty of this you will start from the pit lane at the next event. If this happens multiple times you will be banned. Punting another driver will result in a self-imposed drive through penalty. If you punt another driver, even if it was an honest racing incident, you must perform a drive through before end of race. If you do not perform a drive thru penalty you will start from pit lane at the next event. Rules will be monitored for all events and penalties will be applied for all remaining races. Also, please use the appropriate procedure for filing a protest. Do not protest on the event forum. Please keep the event forum posts clean and respectful.
