HUD; OtterHud - A custom WebHud - With additional features

How to use it?


1. You will need to run the Dash.exe which is basically a data feeder for the WebHud.
There are 2 options to do so:

  • Option 1: Download the dash.zip from the repository, extract and run the dash.exe yourself. https://github.com/OtterNas3/otternas3.github.io/blob/master/r3ewebhud/dash.zip
  • Option 2: Run the latest CrewChief version (http://thecrewchief.org/) and enable the "Enable Web-Hud integration"
    1. Click on "Properties" in the main Crew-Chief window
    
    2. Type "hud" in the top-right search box
    You will see the option on the left side called "Enable Web-Hud integration (R3E only) (boolean)"
    

2. You need to change the startup Parameter for RaceRoom in the Steam launcher

  • Right-Click RaceRoom entry in your Steam Game Library and select "Properties"
  •

  • Press on the "Set Launch Options..." Button
  •

  • Insert this into the box:

  • Launch your game and Drive safely! And that's it! If you have other launch parameters set already, like triple screen or such just go to the end of your entry leave a blank space and insert behind.
  • If your still struggling with performance running this version, there is a final option you could try.

HOTKEYS:
SHIFT + UPARROW Hide/Show the HUD (like the EYE Icon does)
SHIFT+DOWNARROW Reset the current layout (No confirmation, so be careful!)
SHIFT+LEFTARROW switch to Previous Layout: L3 --> L2 --> L1 -->L3 --> ...
SHIFT+RIGHTARROW switch to Next Layout: L1 --> L2 --> L3 --> L1 --> ...
SHIFT + SPACEBAR pause the HUD at its current state - A warning is shown that the HUD is paused

NOTE:
If there is a new version released, you dont have to do anything.
The new version get loaded automatically the next time you start the Game!

TV Tower Logo Information:
Aspect Ratio: 4:1
Minimum size: 512*128
To change the Logo, go to the Settings Page --> TvTower Widget
- Click on "Change Logo URL"
- Enter a VALID image Webpage URL to your logo (it has to be on a webserver directly accesable / You can do that wiht pictures stored on imgur.com as example. COPY/PASTE does work here!)
- Hit Enter
