So i'm trying to get into RF2, but i'm missing a lot of information while driving.

Are there apps for laptimes, Tyre apps and something like "Helicorsa"? I found a few apps on RD, but none of them seem to work.

Thanks mate, but that one isn't working for me. Actually, none of the plugins bar one are working for me :(
I really think the RF2 devs are not doing this sil justice by not including simple apps like laptimes and tyre temps

The best thing to do, IMO, is to use dx9 version...
Get GID plugin (best thing I ever had for rF2)

There is very little in the way of apps for rf2 dx11 version at this time.
So as Ricardo suggested you can download rf2 dx9 version while waiting for the apps to catch up to dx11.

So, with the dx9 version, I personally use, like Nigel, the trackMapPlugin which can be tailored to pretty well whetever you want.
The equivalent of Helicorsa is Curs-o-Radar
I also use rF2PedalOverlayPlugin to control the ffb clipping
And, as you probably know, CrewChief works well with rf2

Thanks guys. Will try to go back to DX9 then

Go back to DX11 and grab the SHQM_HUD off the Steam Workshop..should be exactly what you are looking for at the moment

THANKS Nick! That is a step in the right direction. It solves the laptiming and relative position. I was using the crewchief already btw.
Now all I need is a track overlay.

OK, apparently there is an integrated tyre app. Back to finding it ;-)
    Edit, found it. Great!

If a HUD is sufficient you could also try SMG for DX11 which you can google up.

The one Nick suggested covers 90% of what I was looking for

BTW, just had a little race on RF2 with the WTCC cars. Liked it a lot :D

    Hi Roy,
I wanted to respond to your original post a couple of days ago however, the guys beat me to it haha, so it was pointless for me to repeat what was said previously, now I have an opportunity so I'm gonna take it.:) . I'm glad you like it (and I also wish I could write race reports like you do:D). Keep plugging away and the fun will increase with rF2.

    Regards,
    Bret

Right, been trying a few cars on RF2, but... I haven't found to many yet that react or drive like a racecar. The WTCC mod is great, but whoever made that TCR mod has no clue how well these cars drive in real life. Its nowhere near the real deal. Unless the tyres are made of ice, that would explain a lot
Then the BTCC mod, clip a curb and the car rolls on its roof. Seriously? Has the person that made this ever seen a BTCC race? They clip more curbs than a hairdresser clips hair.:p

TCR is not the best mod out there..

Ok, then why use it for a series in this group?

    Well, that´s a good question isn't it?
I like the BTCC mod a lot..
BTW, which WTCC mod for rF2 are you refering to?

I've got the Simco WTCC mod.
The BTCC cars are ok, only they tip over very easily when you clip a curb.
