I guess I missed this race. The start time shows 16:15 which I thought was my time zone. i went to do some shopping for supper and just came in the door to see the race start at 1 my time. You know what this means I get to have an early beer. :p

Well, now it's time for an not so early (I was in time for the race) beer for me too
@Michael LaBelle (after you logon on the site, local time is shown also. I always check in this way because otherwise it is very difficult to calculate the race start  So small planet, so many time zones)

I had one of those races that you'd describe as a nightmare-from-hell. What could go wrong did go wrong which started with an off at Copse after running over the exit kerbs which pitched me across into the inside barriers. A massive flat-spot which threatened to wreck my wheel with the FFB vibrations required a stop for new tyres at some point, but before that a D/T for apparent track cutting (I only saw one warning o_O) was indicated. I fluffed it by not setting it in the HUD menu and then got a S/G for pit lane speeding and then another for not slowing down on the entry on the next lap. Anyway you get the idea and it just went from bad to worse from there, until without warning my engine blew when the Water/Oil temps were all at normal levels :mad:!! Go figure :(

Sorry about your race Ken. It happens to all of us at one point or the other. Everything just happens all at once!

Race went good. Couldn't see the lights at the start so I just played it by ear. Started out slow as I wanted to keep it safe. Then by the third lap, I realized the guys behind me were probably not pitting. I hit the gas and tried to clear as much ground as possible as I had to pit. Had a great race with Barrett. His tires were much older than mine but was putting up a great race. My newer tires took advantage and I crept by. Good racing.

All in all, a good decent race.

    Johnny,
