Welcome to Round 1 Zandvoort 1973

The Assetto Corsa track is actually called "Sandevoerde". It has 3 lay-outs: 65/67/73.
Sandevoerde is a DLC track. You can get it here: Sandevoerde

There is no free version. It's a DLC track :)

There is as I’ve raced on it ;) it just doesn’t have all the eye candy, but no problem, happy to get the dlc as the guy did a great job on it

As Mark said, there should be one as we raced on it at Srouk recently but it was the slightly faster mid 60's version. @Mark Johnson I don't think this '73 very layout is free.

A good question - I've just 'upgraded' to load cell pedals and seem to have lost all my speed.
I'm currently able to do a 1:30, going to try some different spring and pre-load combos before tomorrow to try and avoid total embarrassment

    Oh my God!
You can make a lot of people happy, Tim :D.
I believe the brake pedal is the single most important control in your simracing rig. Adapting to a new pedal, whether more realistic or not, is a challenge. If you are not able to produce the right braking curve, speed goes down the drain fast...
Hope you get that sorted out Tim... Well just 70% sorted would be best. Good luck!
    Jos

This was quite predictable, coming from some G25 pedals, it's going to change your pedals usage in a much more realistic way, but you'll get used to it soon and recover your speed. As Jos said, don't rush yourself in that regard. :D

    It's alright - I found the problem.
I need shoes on to drive properly as the pedal force is so high ;)

(I also had a rubbish setup)

I'm not sure I entirely agree.
I find the G25 pedals are great at replicating road cars which are softer and have loads of travel, as such they felt realistic given they felt like the cars I currently drive on road and track.
The Thrustmaster pedals on the other hand are excellent at simulating the feel from older non-power assisted cars and single seaters etc.
My 1st go in the Lola into Tarzan resulted in such a big crash I had to turn on the pedals app to check I even had brakes!
Minus the crash, that is also pretty much how I would describe the 1st time I drove my Westfield ('60s Formula Ford pedal box and brake setup), It was terrifying until I adjusted to how much force was needed to slow the car.

Gotta eat hairs from my chest, 0€ in bank atm and track costs 5€. I know it's not much but in this case is too much for one race... c u in next race.

Important note on the track guys : Don't trust the pitlane wall while you're on the track side, because there is a damn unvisible wall right beyond the white line, and clearly before the actual pitlane wall. Remember that, especially for the race start.

I'll do some intentional crashing when I join the server I think.
Does this mean I'm not the only one with a control tower in the middle of the lane then?
