I tried a few laps around Anneua Du Rhin.... whenever I try and pit for fuel the pit marker disappears. Even if I pre-request the pitstop I enter the pit and get 1/4 the way down and it disappears. If I re-request the pitstop in the pitlane to make it appear it still won't service the car. This was in a practice/qually session. Anyone else have these problems?
Looks like I conveniently forgot that I had already identified this bug, although we did run the track in a previous series. I'll look at options. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1110997387
Other than changing the track, which I don't really want to do as its very nice to drive, the other option is to turn off fuel usage so no need to refuel. It will mean racing with a full tank for 45mins but the tyres are up to it I think.
The other way to fix is to turn down the track limits rules? Although I think when I practice I was probably running on "relaxed" or "off". I think same problem is here which would mean it's an AIW problem of the track and I don't know how to do anything with that. https://forum.studio-397.com/index....cel-pitstop-if-pitlane-has-no-boundary.73731/
Did S397 ever re-introduce the fix they talked about? It still looks like the track would need to be modified. I think it will be easier to go fuel consumption=0.
I have an issue lately, every time I go to the track for a stint, after a while I have a big FPS drop for a couple of seconds. Then it may not happen again for the whole stint or race. I have tried changing everything, graphics settings, window settings, sound settings, same thing happens no matter what. When it happens it doesn't delay me and lose me time, but if I am on a corner or close to others I may miss the corner or crash. It happened in the first race just before the chicane and I almost crashed and lost a position. Any ideas??
I am guessing you can only find the possible cause if you have a trace file for the session and you can find the timestamp on when the pause happened. https://docs.studio-397.com/users-guide/diagnosing-issues-using-logging
It's general, it was working fine until a few of weeks ago. I got a new computer a couple of months ago and it has its own issues, I lose FFB sometimes, have to start rF2 twice in order to work, the sound breaks (I think I fixed that) and now those graphics issues.. otherwise I get like 140 FPS.
Please use the rF2 general Forum for discussing issues like this as it is not series specific. You will possibly get a better response from our members.
Default setup but with very soft springs. Apparently some lower wing was good as i lost so much on straights. Race was wild with wildest moment beeing when both leaders went out max speed at the end of straight and atleast i was spinning. Actually so much that didnt know where to drive after csr stopped. Got lucky and guessed right and both joined track and race continued where we left it. All started side by side into T1 and i caught little kerb and after rears landed got tank slapped so lost the car. Because of the speed difference we hd woth Peter, didnt really dream of winning but allways max to the flag, no matter what, you never know what happens when you cant be shaken off. Track was buggy as noted but the flow of it was great.
