    WELCOME TO ROUND 2 CLEVELAND

The Grand Prix of Cleveland was an Indy car event in the CART series, held annually at Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland, Ohio. The race celebrated its milestone 25th anniversary in 2006. The race was most recently held in 2007. After the 2008 open wheel unification, the 2008 race had to be cancelled. Attempts to revive the race have not yet come to fruition.

Normally a fully functioning airport year-round, Burke Lakefront Airport was shut down for the week leading up to the event each year, requiring careful maintenance of the runways in order to keep them safe for cars at high speeds. The race was very popular amongst fans, as the long, wide, runways (much wider and longer than typical courses) allowed for side-by-side racing, fast speeds, and superb passing zones around the entire track. The layout and overall flatness of the circuit also allowed a view of nearly the entire course from the grandstands. The track was less popular with drivers, as the runways were much bumpier than normal asphalt courses. The first turn, in which the runway narrowed and the cars turned at an almost 45 degree angle at the end of the front straight, was seen as one of the toughest in the circuit.

There is a Melbourne setup by Barrett Erickson in "Car Setups" on the homepage that should also work for Cleveland.

    Just want some clarification.

After speaking to drivers about car contact and coming to a "this is touring cars" conclusion.

If this is the result of laggy car contact, shouldn't it really be avoided at all costs? I mean what would anyone else had felt like if they were in my cockpit at the time this highlight was taken? I'm all for hard racing but I just think in online racing contact between cars (especially with most of us being all over the globe) is never worth the risk.

Both drivers, meaning Caitlin and Toni, have publicly stated that they were not at their best. I can only conclude from that that they will be more careful in future events.
There must be respect among drivers, otherwise there will be consequences.

    Changing race length

I'm lowering the race length from 60 to 45 minutes.

Ok for the final time i made that pass on you perfectly fine and kept my line.
You kept outside and as our hitboxes contact, it felt sticky and like you were pulling me to gravel. Its hitbox thing or something. Or you touch the rear of my car making it turn left. Who knows.
Anyhow little rough claiming someone is trying to push you off since it was not the direction i was going to.
Ive never pushed people off and never will so thats that. Nor will i bomb, not even on last lap to get a win. I rather be 2nd then. My car sticks allways 100% on line when i pass someone.
Pass itself was very well done. After that was ahead and line was mine.
Next time just file a protest.

I think you missed the entire point of my post and seemed to take it personally.

Hi there. The race details says that this one will be 45 minutes rather than an hour like the last race. Is this correct?
