I’ll be pulling out of tonight’s event. VR been restarting all day. In a final attempt to fix my VR issues I updated to a windows insider build after a MS rep said it fixed the app restarting. My PC is now completely locked to the point even the windows button don’t work. Good luck to you all, have s great race.
I'm going to miss this as well..live in NC and the powers been in and out for the last two days from the hurricane. .don't want to risk my pc and or someone's race..good luck IL see you at the next track
I've had issues with my vr setting my outside the car for a few moments then it goes back to normal..I hear the windows chime like it's been in unplugged then plugged back in..check all connections seems fine..wonder if it's from the endless windows updates? Doesn't happen to often but it's a pain when it does. .. (never on a straight lol!)
i am sorry for my dive bomb and my re join i did take a drive through in the race for them and i hope that was the right thing for me to have done ?
You on a WMR headset Eric? It's the Mixed Reality Portal app that kept restarting. It would crash my wheel, game and HMD so I had no chance of sitting it out till it all come back. The last thing i want is to end up ruining someones race after I plow into the pack blind. I had no choice than to just go for a fresh new OS install. For every issue it fixed it has introduced 2 new problems. Now it seems I can't drive on any mod track. I click drive and it starts loading then just crashes back to the choose car/track page. I managed to get the RS.01 running on Highlands so the car is fine.
No I'm using a cv1 oculus rift..happens randomly sometimes not at all..I hear the windows tone when you unplug a USB device then a few seconds later it's back and I hear the reverse tone like when you plug in a USB device..
