This is a good game but has some nasty bugs 1 of them, When you go to your setup menu it just keeps flickering you cant adjust anything it does random adjustments. Race 1 went to the grid I had wet tyres on by the time I went in the pits to put on slicks I was almost 2 laps down. Race 2 a lot better. I was thinking 3rd would be a good result then Kenny in 2nd made a mistake finishing 2nd a nice bonus.
There where some fast lap times here tonight, Couldn´t get my own best, but thats the case most off the time with me. Race 1 I got a small hit in the back wing after a lap or two. The car was very slippery after that so I just try to hold it on track and get to finish line. Race 2 Well there where cars all over the place first lap, managed to not get involved and where doing alright just until 9-10 min then there was a car at second right curve. I hit that one and lost half off my front wing, again a very slippery car. Just got it over the finish line. A big thank you to admins for all the fun
Good race, great FUN! Race 1, finish 5th from 7th, following the Kenny exhausts all the race but he was a little faster than me and start pull away lap after lap, Keep my head cool set my pace with very consistent laps, that is my main issue after 4 years without sim race. Race 2, there's not much to say, avoided the first sliding white car around turn 4, cant avoid the second sliding white car on turn 6, some dejavu , I was able to continue but somebody turn me upside down and there's not much to do. I was a sitting duck with my face on the grass. I'm fine, I did some checks at the medical center, no injuries to report see you all at Zolder.
Despite the ongoing issues of the lobby not showing the SRO server for me without endless refreshes and/or changes in the filter options, I managed to get on the server for both races. With no practice until 45 mins before R1 I wasn't sure what to expect, but getting into the groove again with these fast, darty single seaters, I managed to adjust a few settings, both controller and setup and improved my lap times to be competitive. In R1 I lost ground in the first few laps and then closed up on Olly but too late to challenge him for position. In R2 with a grid slot of P2 I got a good enough start to make it ahead of Olly when we got to Turn 3. With the incident on the exit of Turn 6 slowing guys behind, I could then focus on keeping it clean and not making any mistakes. On the final lap, with around 7 secs in hand to Nigel, I backed off 1-2 secs before the flag to avoid having to do another lap and risk losing the win. The series is shaping up to be very competitive all the way to the final race, which is a good sign for all of us
