Well, that was short and bitter :(
I was looking forward to what would have been (as far as my feeble memory recollects) my first ever online PC2 race. Great car and one of my all-time favourite circuits. Unfortunately, my lack of PC2 online experience put paid to that. After qually I pressed the wrong button. I saw a sign saying 'waiting' and like an idiot, thought it was waiting for input from me. The only 'button' I could see was 'Return to race central' . . . Shouldn't have pressed it
Re-joined (several times), the race hadn't started, but all I could do was spectate.
    You live . . . and sometimes you learn . . .
    Boy I'm having a bad week :D
Anyway, hopefully everyone (else) had a lot of fun and hopefully I'll get to join you at Brands :)

If you'd stuck around another few seconds Gilles and monitored the chat in the joining lobby, I informed everyone that I'd restart the server to get the reace underway, which we did. Sorry you missed out and hope everything goes OK next time. Oh and about pressing the wrong button, there isn't one PC2 player who hasn't done the same! :D

I had a better race , after making a mess of the Ams 2 race which was still fun, and I didn't have any problems like I did last time which is a good sign.
I'm glad that at least Ken managed to reset the server so the guys that lost connection could re-join the server, always a frustrating issue when it arises.

Unfortunately after chasing Roman, I was getting nervous because his car was slightly jumping around which is always difficult when your close, then at the tight right hand corner I saw his car go on two wheels and off track , trouble is, at my end there was a gap between us and I didn't touch him. Really frustrating.
I figured this is what happened so pulled over but after that just couldn't get back in to rhythm, still enjoyed the car and first part of the race.:(
Thanks to all and see you at the next one:)

I did not expect anything for this race, had no time to practice, no setup and i dont
like the track layout. (the old Österreichring was fantastic!!!)

But my race was very enjoyable: I had a 40 min fight with Brian. Cheers mate, i enjoyed every lap.
Not dirty tricks, no crowbar, leaving enough space, pure fairness and respect. Thats what i am looking for in racing
Grats to Roman, his pace once more from another planet, so weight penalty for you mate, high demand!!!! :D

Thank you to admins for all the effort.
A question " allways to wheel at track " still apply

My race was decent, but my car setup is lacking, and I made a poor tire choice with the softs.
Furthermore, my G29 wheel is only minimally configured; I haven't yet managed to get the force feedback working in any game.
Several spins significantly hampered my progress, leaving me too far behind to realistically recover.

See you all at Brands Hatch.

We look for two wheels inside white lines as a general rule, unless stipulated different for a specific race/track (possibly due to a problem with the mod). I know Turn 1 at Red Bull Ring is very difficult, as we know from real life races, and I exceeded the limits myself in Qualifying a couple of times. As long as it is not considered to be abused intentionally and is an infrequent occurrence, then it should not be a problem.

I had you do a deep dive, I left the place, realizing that I would give up the position, but it was a hard hit, but fortunately without any damage. I myself could not find the pace for a long time, I was afraid of losing control and practice in LMU and AMS2, which I am now training in parallel, do not allow such drift driving, which is possible in PC2. Only closer to the end of the race I managed to get rid of the fear and the pace immediately increased by about 0.5 sec.

It's a pity that there was contact, it was one of the most intense races for me in recent times. Thank you all for your congratulations and I invite everyone to AMS2, this is the future for those who love project cars

The dreaded lag strikes again, I didn't go for the dive, and was on a wider line ,this is what I saw , real shame, at least there was no damage. ss185058 Roman.jpg this is the second time we have had this, annoying

For the first time I also had lag and even a disconnect in Qual session .
Never had that before in 4 years.

Sorry but I won´t race next time with you guy´s out off town so to say.

    Lo
Well looking at the replay I can see you can gain 0,5 - 1 sec in that corner . And missing it 25 out off 28 laps  hmm:rolleyes:
most be a new SRO Record . I missed it once in 28 laps . You gain a great exit speed in that way ,
