Heads up. Once you come out of the pits and make the right hander a little passed the Snap On banner, if you touch/hit the wall, game over. The car sticks like gum to the wall. Sometimes you can ride the wall half way and you'll be released of wall duties. Very touchy situation. Stay off the wall. On another note. Were using the IMSA BOP or can we change it? Tried the GT4 and it's about a second faster per lap. Thanks Ken.
That was the intention JG but without setting the fixed setup option on the server I don't think its possible to limit the BOP selection. Now everybody knows which to use
A shame as it has a lot of nostalgia for us older guys We have another race already scheduled for 17th October using this track, but it will be the last one until another version comes along or the issues are fixed (unlikely).
Yeah, this version of the track needs to be retired. Any remaining races should be rolling start and include suitable warnings. The big bug is (from a replay analysis): there are six starting horns, the first four light the red lights, the fifth lights all the greens, then the sixth sounds when the green lights go out. rFactor thinks the race starts not when the green lights come on, but when they go out. Those of us who went with the green received drive thru penalties (not to mention inflicting damage on others). Other bugs: the sticky walls, Johnny found, and some kind of invisible ramp i found in T2 near the end of the race, flipping my car on it's roof. The attached photo's show the moment of launch. Maybe that last, seemingly reversed, bit of yellow rumble?
So it was the green lights I thougt I f***ed up something And then tried to serve teh 5s penalty, tried 2 times, but couldn't get it done, so I was DQ.. Sorry to the guy started in front of me as I bumped into the rear. Hope to have a better race here with Tatuus next tuesday.
