Congrats to winner and finishers! Good race for 5 seconds. My force feed back disappeared and I was like, wth? Then the engine blew. I was stepping on the gas and the car wouldn't go. "Why isn't she going!" It all happened so fast. I did something to cause the engine to blow. O'well. Edit: Now I remember, I shifted to 2nd instead of 4th. Yikes. Johnny,
My race started almost as bad as @Johnny Gutierrez's - I hadn't done a standing start in a long time and managed to botch it big time. Jumped the start by about 0.001 seconds and earned myself a drive through. Ended up performing possibly the slowest start ever, then, distracted by the cars going off at turn 1, slammed straight into the back of @Ed Jones (I believe). Big apologies to Ed - hope it didn't impact your race too much. Ed took off, his car seemingly intact, but mine had lost both front and back wings. Struggled to get it back to the pits where I had a really lengthy stop for repairs, followed the next two laps by two more visits to the pits - the first to serve my drive through and the second to serve it properly! So after three laps I was two laps behind everyone else! Considered giving up, but decided to keep going and I'm glad that I did as I ended up really enjoying the drive. In fact I loved it. Great car, great track, great fun. Thank you @Ken Jagger and thank you all.
I don't think it affected my car at all Gilles. At least not that I noticed. Too bad you had so many problems. Better luck next time!
