Mistakes were made and hit someone, was optimistic, good it was me who spun. Field was very good, everyone went good pace and laptimes were close. Mistakes were the key tonite. Fun race, ty all.
Very intense race. The quali was already really tight, top five within half a second. But the race took it to another level, looking at the fastest lap, top five within 2 tenth. My start was not that good, @Jens Roos had a better drive after the start and passed me. While approaching turn one I missed the apex and got more pressure from behind. Fortunately I recovered and because Jens tested a wide line into turn three I got back into P5 respectively P4 because @Mariusz Lebioda lost on the start. The next thing was to build a gap, it was surprising how much Jens lust through turn four, did you tried that in third gear @Jens Roos? With that I already missed the train to the top three, but the majority of them struggled to keep it on track. First @Toni Talvitie who turned left after turn one, not sure why looked strange Then Ken spun at the first curb of the chicane, which cost me a bit of time because I could not pass him. Some time later he had another spin at the second curb of the same chicane, unlucky. The curbs at this track with these cars are really dangerous. Avoid them and if you can don´t go full throttle. And the suddenly I was second, some seconds behind @Csaba Lako, who was clearly faster and drove a flawless race from start to finish. Outstanding, congrats. So as I couldn´t match the pace of Csaba my focus did go backwards. The gap shrinked slightly from time to time round about three seconds, got up to five and then down again to two seconds, because I nearly lost my car on the outside curb of the last turn. After that I know I had to push and squeez everything out of that car. Amazing how much we pushed each other, we drove both our fastest laps in lap 28. Stressfull but fun, thank that was really a good race
Bit of pace on this combo, but got good start and first laps placed me at 4th for an short while. Good fun race where I did my best to defend, but unconditionally dropped thru the field under pressure from the faster drivers And yes, was on 3rd on that turn @Philipp Pichler, will try to spend some more time tweaking that setup for the next one
