The 3rd race of this series at Imola is next Tuesday 13th May. I have had to program these races at different intervals to the usual bi-weekly schedule, due to my various upcoming absences from normal duty.
Hi all, I'm really sorry but wont be able to make the race for Imola, unfortunately I have a fairly major issue with the Rig , I'm trying to source the part I need and its not been that easy, frustrated. Have a good race and I will keep you updated.
Hi All Long time absence thought I give it a try , a bit rusty in mp race . Sorry to see so many not racing tonight
It's a pity that Bjorn left the race. There are indecently few of us here. I really didn't want to overtake Hermann on a lap, if it weren't for the annoying mistakes, this wouldn't have happened. I was not far from you in practice and saw that you can quickly pass combinations of turns, but then unnecessary mistakes follow when braking. Apparently you need better equipment or its adjustment and a little practice and your results will noticeably improve. Thanks everyone for the race, come to F3 AMS2
I hope you had a good race guys, and sorry i wasn't there to help the numbers , always fun racing Roman. As soon as I'm able to get the Rig sorted I will be back. The motion platform I use (broke a major spring last race ) and the seat is bolted to it, so it just wobbles all over the show, unusable at the moment. hope to get it sorted ASAP just need to track the part down, not easy, but i have a plan.
Well if you drive like a Zombie like I did , you better be out off the race Very sorry to Ken , but I say thank you for all you´r effort for us ,hope you know that . and congrats to all podium players and those that finish the race. Only good thing was the start , after that I was a real mess So my conclusion is hard but clear , no more try outs . Maybe in the future I can find inspiration/ time again for sim racing
Grats Roman and Ken, great pace. Sorry Björn, but i cannot agree with you. You have been very fast in all sessions, you did a super start and did very well for the first laps. Ken was a bit over motivated and faster, so i decided to let him pass. You made the same decision and had a blackout by the way - only human. Normally you are driving like a computer, so now i am happy to know, you are not . Cheers mate.
I'm not sure I was "over motivated" Gerhard, rather that I seem to have clicked with this car based on the previous races and didn't want to get bottled up behind you. To be honest the practice times between you, me and Bjorn were so close, it was always going to be an exciting race between us, or so I thought . Just goes to show how what you think/feel can be totally wrong sometimes .
