The Isle of Man TT or Tourist Trophy races are an annual motorcycle racing event run on the Isle of Man in May and June of most years since its inaugural race in 1907. The event begins on the UK Spring Bank Holiday at the end of May and runs for thirteen days. It is often called one of the most dangerous racing events in the world. The Isle of Man TT is run in a time-trial format on public roads closed to the public by an Act of Tynwald. The event consists of one week of practice and qualifying sessions followed by one week of racing. It was a tradition, perhaps started by racing competitors in the early 1920s, for spectators to tour the Snaefell Mountain Course on motorcycles during the Isle of Man TT on 'Mad Sunday',[2] an informal and unofficial event held on the Sunday between Practice Week and Race Week.[3] In 2022, race organizers announced that beginning in 2023, racing would take place on Sunday after practices to allow visitors to see more events, marking the end of Mad Sunday. It's just impossible to remember every corner on the track or to predict what's coming next. I just try to guess how tight the next corner will be just by looking at it in the distance. But the thing is ... 75% of all corners are blind!! Having said that, I do get a hint of memory of some parts of the track now that I've driven it a few times and I'm actually beginning to appreciate the track LOL! But ... it's a challenge ...
Drivers briefing 1. Isle Of Man TT Conditions 1) The Time Trail will start at 02:00 PM (in-game time of course) 2) Time acceleration is normal. Fuel = 1x - Tyres = 1x 3) Cut Track points are set to 3 4) 50% damage 5) The TT will take place during the Qualifying session. There is no "race" session. 6) Qualification is set to "private". That means that you will be alone on track so you can put in your best time without traffic. 7) You are allowed to press Esc during a timed lap and start again. 8) You will get 2 attempts for a timed lap. The track still counts the outlap- and the inlap, that is why the total laps are set to 6. 2. You can find the password for the race server on the Isle Of Man event page. 3. Unregistering in time if you can't make it. 4. Please use the SAME NAME in the rFactor 2 game as on our SRO signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing. You can change your name in the rFactor 2 "Profile" menu. 5. You can find the server by typing SRO or the track name. Add the server to your favorites so you can always find it.
