Knockhill, BTCC. Lap 1 the field spreads out In 4th place, just managing to keep 3rd in sight 5th and 6th bump giving me a bit of space Oh! Oh! try to keep the 4 wheels on the ground Just ahead Philipp was having a similar problem But didn't land so well 3rd place but Ken was getting closer ...and closer Oh no I've gone in too tight here... S#!T there goes the spoiler.. permission to land.. dropping down from 2nd place to 5th Phew, it's just a scratch, who needs that spoiler thing anyway it's just for looks ? next lap same turn, looks like that spoiler did do something Made it to the end, after all that 4th place seems like a bargin.
I was right behind you Norman (but one lap down) as I was approaching turn one and then there was a car in the air. That looked really spectacular and somehow frightening. To finish fourth is a good result with that, Jens in third also fliped his car (I was right behind him too, probably a bad omen). I could not recover that well, already sixth I decided to pit for fresh tyres, because with my bend steering and worn tyres I was all over the place. At least I robbed the fastes lap from Jens by some split seconds
