    Track info
Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course is a road course auto racing facility located in Troy Township, Morrow County, Ohio, United States, just outside the village of Lexington. Mid-Ohio has also colloquially become a term for the entire north-central region of the state, from south of Sandusky to the north of Columbus. It hosts a number of racing series such as IndyCar, IMSA WeatherTech Sportscar Championship, and the NASCAR Xfinity Series, along with other club events such has SCCA and National Auto Sport Association.

The track was opened in 1962 by Les Griebling and several Mansfield-area businessmen as a location for weekend sports car racing. The track originally had 16 turns, with a left turn in what is today known as "thunder valley," but the turn was straightened after just one year of operation due to complaints of the track being too slow. The track hosted Can-am and F5000 through the 1970s and in 1980, it would host its first CART race with Johnny Rutherford taking victory with Chaparral.

t1 gives cut warning even if touch the inside curb a little. weird. other than that, track is awesome.

And other corners you can almost go completely off track with no cut warnings. T1 could be a problem. Maybe the cut track limit could be raised for this round to compensate?

Yes, that cut track warning on the inside curb of T1 is very annoying and unjustified.
I will set the cut track warnings to 20 because there's no other place to cut on the track without losing time.

How is set the practice server?
Which is the starting rubber preset: light, medium, heavy,...?
And is Real Road set static or normal?

If I want to compare a stint with another and try to make a setup real road should be static in practice imho

    Practise preset = medium
    Qual preset = medium

On the main page, on the right side of the page, under My Events and stats, click on
Round 3 Mid Ohio - no chicane
In that page, the password will be on the right side of that same page. Later on today or the day of the race, the password will change. John or someone will describe it better than myself. :)

    Drivers briefing

    1. This event will be broadcasted
    Broadcast team: EithaRacingTeam
    Broadcasters: Nassim, Lorenzo & Sameer
Twitch broadcast link: https://www . twitch . tv / eitharacing (delete the spaces)
Or go to the headlines on top of the homepage.

    2. The use of the Esc. key in Qualification
Use of the Esc key during Qualifying is the equivalent of stopping your car and getting out. This may be done only in your pit stall. There are very few exceptions to this rule. Here are the only two we will currently consider. These exceptions are subject to change at any time:
    1. You run out of fuel in pit lane before reaching your pit stall.
    2. You sustain damage to your car as a result of another driver and cannot make it back to your pit stall. You must prove your qualifying session was wrecked by another driver and that you made an attempt to return to pit lane.

If you use the Esc key in any location other than your pit stall, your Qualifying session is over and you may not return to the track.

    3. Mid-Ohio Conditions
    1) The race will start at 02:00 PM (in-game time of course)
    2) Time acceleration is normal. Fuel and Tires are set to normal.
    3) The race will 100% dry.
    4) Cut Track points are set to 20
    5) This race has 100% damage
    6) Pole Points: 1 / Fast Lap Points: 1

    4. Formation lap and rolling start.
Right after leaving the last corner, we double file in qual order. When the pole-sitter crosses the start line, the race begins.

    5. The pole-sitter will do the formation lap approx. 120 km per hour.

    6. The server password will be changed on race day. You can find the password for the race server on the Mid-Ohio event page.

    7. If you have to do a drive-through penalty, you have to do it
at the end of the first racing lap.
That means the first racing lap AFTER the formation lap.

    8. Unregistering in time if you can't make it.

    9. No-shows (keeping the entry list real)

If a driver does not show without unregistering for that event or letting us know that he can't make it on the event forum, he will be removed from the series.
If he is no longer interested in the series, it's fine like it is.
If he forgot about the event, he can sign up for the series again.

(You don't have to unregister for the whole series. You can unregister only for the event you can't do.)

    10. You can find the server by first typing sro

    11. Please use the same name in the rFactor 2 game as on our signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing.

    My brakepedal messing about again.
Its old model which has metal versus plastic coqwheel so obviously it wears out and does wonders to my racing.
New version of pedals have gotten really good reviews and having better brake also so have to order that i guess.

Congrats to Johnny for another win and Matteo for P2. Sorry for the contact to whomever it was in Madness. I think you were trying to let me by and I wasn't expecting it there. I found getting by lap traffic difficult today. Joe really wanted P3. He had that Aston Martin moving in the last 30 minutes. Trying to keep a gap on 30 something percent worn tires was stressful to say the least.

Congrats to Matteo and Matt for their podium finishes. The track was a hard one for sure. It's hard enough racing here and then you have to overtake? Thanks to my teammate Barrett for the fine paint job I'm wearing.

My decision was not to apply pressure on Matteo because if I did, knowing Toni, he would be gone in the wind. With two fast drivers in front, it's better to sit back and watch and not apply pressure as it would let someone else disappear easily. My apologies to John at the start/finish line. My decision was to get in behind Matteo so he could know I was not attacking for a position. While doing this, I almost cut Johns front bumper off with my rear end. I didn't know John got such a great start.

I'd like to say congrats to Matteo and Toni for their fine, respectable and patient driving. Sometimes it's just a coin toss on what happens at the end.

    Johnny,
