Welcome to Round 3 Riverside Long Riverside International Raceway (sometimes known as Riverside, RIR, or Riverside Raceway) was a motorsports race track and road course established in the Edgemont area of Riverside County, California, just east of the city limits of Riverside, in 1957. In 1984, the raceway became part of the newly incorporated city of Moreno Valley. Riverside was noted for its hot, dusty environment and for being a somewhat complicated and dangerous track for drivers. It was also considered one of the finest tracks in the United States. The track was in operation from September 22, 1957, to July 2, 1989, with the last race, The Budweiser 400, won by Rusty Wallace, held in 1988. After that final race, a shortened version of the circuit was kept open for car clubs and special events until 1989. 3 race lap demo

Oh boy, that's a shame. Could it be that you were running a very low ride height and the front wing hit an edge?
Just before starting lap 2 before the finish line, there was a pileup, and I hit it. Was in third place as I kept pointing straight luckily. In the first stint, Toni was behind me, and suddenly he was gone. I thought he had crashed. Turns out that sly devil pitted early and started doing fast laps on fresh rubber, so he jumped me after my pitstop. We both ran wide a couple of times in that loop, just before the long back straight. Just as I closed in on him after a mistake from him, I also ran wide LOL. That was the most difficult section of the track if you try to go through it fast. Good fun.
Yeah, that pileup was started by a collision between me and another driver. We were side-by-side and then he had a slide and came up into my. It was the first incident of an accident-packed race for me.
Q i dont know why i cant go any faster with empty car vs 60liters of fuel. mystery. well 3 tenths or so but not enough for pole. R i had the pace to win and should have done so..gutted. low 1.30 was the race pace but that 1st lap incident broke my car little. 2 cars in front started slide and slowed down, tried to squeeze by the wall but i hit @Caitlin Penny i think little and then got hit from behind. If race incident..fine but if due to too much agression on lap 1.....thx. Rest of the race i played all in and that made me do couple slips. @John vd Geest i took it early since didnt want to race you on track. would have slowed us both down and you showed some great pace tonite!
Ok that was a liitle bit crazy, no wonder the track is no more Q wasn't great, car became too slidey on the rear, felt more like rally cross. Race started funny with almost instant green-lights; lucky me avoided the stuff behind me. Chased Michal quite a while like so many times before^^ Coudn't make it alongside him so I opted out of kamikaze stuff on the last turn. He just made one mistake on the most difficult part of the track once and that was my only way past. Then drove my race to the finish somehow, including two lappings which became about as crazy as the track itself: Turn 1 with just about a carwidth to the inside Cya next time maybe. Monza 1966, if I remember this correctly I hated this track and was not planning to ever race there again
I did some good practice for once . But, when I ran wide, I hit the wall. That's when you caught me. The left side of my front wing was a pretty deep blue a.k.a. f*ucked up
I won the qualification Then something terrible happened, the engine in my McLaren broke up during the warm-up It had a great impact on my race. I drove conservatively, did not turn the engine high, and gear shifts were even slower. But I am very happy with this difficult race, almost faultless I made one small mistake, which Dino scrupulously made use of. Once again, congratulations to you for winning. I had the most duels with Caitlin, but I don't know why, she was doubled. Well I was probably too slow, but I lost my rhythm and some time because of these fights Regards
Poor race Qualifying , very unusual but my vr headset decided to lose connection so rejoined with 5 mins qualifying left. Blipped the throttle and sped in pit lane so no fast lap due to penalty Back of the grid start and on lap one on whatever corner I spun on exit. Whoever was behind me couldn't avoid and took the nose off my car. I tried to pit and the "pit request" button that I checked before the race in practice decided not to work in race. By this time im shouting at PC lol Another DNF to add to my many, think its time to give this up Cyas next time
