Aptora banner and car mask. No need to move or adjust anything. Just paste onto your C11 and everything should be in the right place. For the people who want to support Aptora but don't want to paint.

As qualy will be wet does that mean the start of the race will be wet track as well even if set to clear if track condition carries over from qualy?

Correct. The wet track will carry over from Qual to Race. From testing the sessions (which everyone can do on the server by advancing the sessions), I noticed that it will also rain during warmup.
So, at the start of the race it will be dry, but the track will be wet for a few laps.

    Drivers briefing

    1. All 6 events of this series will be broadcasted
    Broadcaster: Rob Milliken
    [IMG]

    2. Silverstone Conditions
    1) The race will start at 02:00 PM (in-game time of course)
    2) Time acceleration = normal. Fuel = normal / Tires = normal
    3) Cut Track points are set to 6
    4) 100% damage
    5) This event has a standing start with a formation lap. Formation lap speed = ca. 120 km/h. The race starts when the pole-sitter crosses the start line.
    6) This race has variable weather, see post #2.
    7) Qualification is set to "private". That means that you will be alone on track so you can put in your best time without traffic (point 3 qual rule still applies).
    8) YOU HAVE TO USE THE SAME CAR THROUGHOUT THE SERIES THAT YOU CHOOSE FOR YOUR FIRST EVENT.

    3. The use of the Esc. key in Qualification
Use of the Esc key during Qualifying is the equivalent of stopping your car and getting out. This may be done only in your pit stall. There are very few exceptions to this rule. Here are the only two we will currently consider. These exceptions are subject to change at any time:
    - You run out of fuel in the pit lane before reaching your pit stall.

If you use the Esc key in any location other than your pit stall, your Qualifying session is over and you may not return to the track.

    4. You can find the password for the race server on the Silverstone event page.

    5. Unregistering in time if you can't make it.

    6. Please use the
SAME NAME in the rFactor 2 game as on our SRO signup list or it won't match in our automated result processing.

You can change your name in the rFactor 2 "Profile" menu.

    7. If you plan to PROTEST another driver, you have to wait 24 hours counting from the end of the race.

Any protest filed before that time will be viewed as not received. You can find the rules about submitting a protest here.

    8. You can find the server by typing SRO or the track name. Add the server to your favorites so you can always find it.
If you can't find the server in the rFactor 2 server list, you can access this way:
    1. click on this link: https://simracepackages.lima-city.de/rF2server/
    2. scroll down to "SRO" (it's alphabetical)
    3. choose the correct server and Join with the password (see point 4 above)
    4. the server will start automatically and will take you to the event

SIMRACINGONLINE wishes you a great race!

Congrats to winner and finishers which I am not one of. Remember kids, always map your steering wheel or you'll be .... No fuel and no tire change ended my race. Good racing none the less.

After watching live.... i think maybe a few members need to have a read of the punt rules. Some of the car contact that was broadcast live looked terrible.

well that was a tiring race, thought maddie would pip me to pole again but went out for one last go with a do or die setup change and it worked.

was trying to conserve fuel whilst keeping maddie behind at the start, then she went off and it was toni up my ass when track was just about ready for slicks so decided to pit to not lose time battling, dry stint was uneventful until the rain came way sooner than expected, stayed out as long as I could but on my in lap was faffing about with the fuel figures as knew fuel usage would be less with the wet weather for the rest of the race, unfortunately it bit me when I tried to enter pits one handed adjusting the fuel knob on my wheel and put it in the barrier on pit entry, so an attempt to save time in the pit actually cost me another 30 seconds fixing the damage and cost me the win in the end, came out in front of my team mate robin who seemed to be having a ding dong battle with toni in the second half of the race so decided to conserve fuel and maintain a 3 second gap.

Unfortunately I took the fuel saving too far and toni came up to me quite quick on better tyres after passing robin, was pushing hard to try to stay ahead but catching the back markers at the wrong point eliminated the gap and toni got a run on me on the hanger straight, outbraked myself a bit and ran wide and toni slipped through.

Annoyed with myself for the silly mistake on pit entry but happy to recover to second all things considered.

Well done toni for the win and my team mate robin for another podium.

Well, that was a race of ups and downs. Had the pace but made far too many mistakes and couldn't pass anyone in the wet due to how bad the visibility was in the spray. There was some absolutely appaling driving from a certain driver early on and the damage from that cost me about 30 extra seconds in the pits.

Would also like clarification included on the pitlane entry in the future, because I was confused during the race on where it was.

Was fun and challenging. Agree on passing in the rain, damn hard. Estimating fuel was difficult and so had "little" surplus on the finishline :)
