[IMG]WELCOME TO ROUND 3 SPA FRANCORSHAMPS

The Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, frequently referred to as Spa, is a 7.004 km (4.352 mi) motor-racing circuit located about 8 km (5.0 mi) southeast of Spa, Belgium in Stavelot. It is the current venue of the Formula One Belgian Grand Prix, hosting its first Grand Prix in 1925, and has held a Grand Prix every year since 1985 (except 2003 and 2006).

Spa also hosts several other international events including the 24 Hours of Spa, the World Endurance Championship 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps. It is also home to the Uniroyal Fun Cup 25 Hours of Spa, one of the longest motor races in the world.

The circuit has undergone several redesigns through its history, most extensively in 1979 when the track was modified and shortened from a 14.100 km (8.761 mi) circuit using public roads to a 6.947 km (4.317 mi) permanent circuit due to safety concerns with the old circuit.

    Weather forecast
Conditions: A much improved day but there is still a chance of a shower or two in the afternoon. RACE: 17°C
    Maximum temperature expected: 17 Celsius
    Minimum temperature expected: 12 Celsius
    Chance of rain: 40%

DRS not working on the server for me... any solutions for that?

    Spa Francorshamps track version change!

I have no idea why the DRS is not working on-line with this mod on the official S397 Spa track.

Please download the SRHF1 Spa version on the event page.
The DRS is working on this track and the graphics are not that far off from the S397 version. This is a free none-DLC track.

Put the track file in the "Package" folder and install it from within the rF2 game.

    First laps on the new SRHF1 track;
    Medium tires
    Full tank 148 liters
    Fastes lap: 1.49,260
    Fuel: 3.22 liters per lap
Tire degradation is pretty low if you don't slide too much.
    Definitely a 1 stopper

Spa rocks with this car. Full on attack mode :cool:

Good investment. This S397 track is often used in all kinds of leagues, here as well for endurance races for example.

There's no denying it - Max Verstappen is the best Belgian F1 driver since Stoffel Vandoorne and Lando Norris. Isn't that right John.....:D:D:D

    Well that's at least 50% . . . . :D
'Pantheon' (https://pantheon.world/profile/occupation/racing-driver/country/belgium) has him listed as the 2nd most famous racing driver from Belgium - so it must be true! (1st: Jacky Ickx - 3rd Thierry Boutsen):D
I thought you had arranged for us to be racing in the country of his birth this weekend to celebrate his winning the World Championship last weekend:D

Well, at least he knows where his priorities lie

Max Emilian Verstappen (Dutch: [ˈmɑks vɛrˈstɑ.pə(n)]; born 30 September 1997) is a Belgian and Dutch racing driver and the 2021, 2022, and 2023 Formula One World Champion. He competes under the Dutch flag in Formula One.

    . . . in Belgium.
His dad had an old one lying around . . .
But OK - you can have him :)
I mean, what else have yous got . . . other than Andre Rieu
Anyway, no matter where he's from (Max, not Andre) I rate him as one of the best 3 I've seen in my lifetime - along with Senna and Tommy Byrne.
