To be honest with you, I have no clue what is the deal with that engine blow ups. I never had one with this car and it would a bit odd, if that is just down on my driving style. On down shifts I had some over-revs, so maybe it´s because you guys drive with auto-blip off? Anyway, that was tough luck but I can feel it. Because of that stupid pit stop request I pressed to neutral (instead of unrequest - the button below) in the F3 series last year, which ended up in the same result. So you are not alone @Csaba Lako Not sure how to rank my performance today, I was certainly not fast enough and had problems later in the race. That was probably because of the tyre deg or heat, which made the car more twitchy. But I ended up on P2, which was allowed because of other guys problems. Or let´s says other guys have more severe problems I´m not able to bring the good individual sectors together and I struggled a lot in the first. And regarding the FFB, with my old Thrustmaster wheel I could find a good setting, therefore I switched it completely off. For me that is easier to get used to and was the setting for rf1 too, even with my never wheel. Far from ideal but as you can see it works to some degree.
Not sure why but when I joined pre-race practice the FFB feeling I was getting was very different to the previous two races with this car. It seemed so weak that it might as well not have been there. A PC reboot helped a bit, but by then I had only 5 mins of practice before qualifying. I did a few quick adjustments to my Miami Bay setup including moving the brake bias rearwards which worked ok in Qualifying, but then as the tyres wore in the race, it led to rear instability and several slow, looping slides which I couldn't hold or correct. This allowed Philippe through into 3rd and resulted in more than one joust for me with Michael for 4th as I kept passing him then sliding and giving him the place back again . To be gifted 3rd on the final lap due to Csaba's engine misfortune, yet again, was unexpected for sure.
