I was planning on joining for the last round but got ill. Will aim to join for this one. Not the greatest track version especially at the chicane!

I've found another less good-looking version, but with a less severe chicane as you have suggested. It will need to undergo our SRO compatibility testing before we can use it, so for this upcoming race we will stick with the existing version.

I mean it is quite a good looking version of the track its a shame they modelled the chicane a bit off! I certainly don't remember the track ever having such a tight chicane

I'm not sure if they didn't change it for Bikes but I couldn't find any details of that. However I did find various images for the track which looked like it showed a much tighter chicane and then others with it more open.

Congrats to podium players and thank you to admins .
Speed was ok , a bit to consevative with tyre managements as it seemed
and wasn´t sure off fuel would last:confused: . so one pit stop was not a good strategy
Will miss out on next race :(

I reckoned for my mid-field pace that I would likely need a stop for a fuel splash and to minimize the time in the pits I was short-shifting pretty much all the race after the first few laps. At half distance it was beginning to look like I could make and after the fast guys stopped and I saw I had quite a gap on Bjorn, I worked on getting to the end with a bit of time left over him. The final 2-3 laps I needed to gain 0.5 litres which I was able to do by using higher gears for nearly every turn, so entering the final lap I had 1 lap worth of fuel. At the flag I had 0.1 litre left in the tank .
Reminds me of the Assetto Corsa Seat Leon driving style needed for that current series.

Always forget theres no obvious start lights appearing on the hud so never entirely sure when to go
Didnt think i could make it on a single tank so opted for stop halfway, worried about if i'm supposed to signal a pit stop to the pits but must have oversped as needed a stop-go. pitstop time seemed overly long. And really i didn't need to change tyres in hinsight but hey.

Certainly an interesting car to drive that can get quite lively on the brakes. Always wary of car mods and their quality but these arnt too bad.

When I go to the grid I always set the rF2 overlay to the Timing tab, so if I can't see or hear the start lights/horn then I can see the timer start.
To get the exact service you require for fuel/tyres you should configure it before the race proper in the setup screen. I always set fuel & tyres to Zero/NO for all three potential pitstop configs if I don't want them, so that if I have to make an unexpected stop i.e. for damage repairs, I don't also get added time for fuel/tyre changes.

Not sure if I understod this properly , if you do the pit strategy in race , you don´t get added time ? so its quicker than if you do ,you´r strategy before race starts o_O:confused:

I did set the pit stop details in the setup & the menu. I didnt change it, but it noticeable was a longer stop. If that was becuase of damage to the car I dunno, it wasnt clear if damage was attempted during a stop. When stopping it said 30sec for tyre change but it was about 5 secs after that it allowed me to move.

RF2 applies a variable time value at pit stops, meant as far as I believe, to simulate pit crew mistakes etc. This is what affects the time taken and makes it variable. It doesn't matter how you pre-set your pit stop either before or during the race.
