Hi guys, HEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPP !!!!!! I have a problem on Donington track. In cockpit view, entire car is flickering. Only on this track. Online and offline. I download the track from another source. Same result. Everything is OK in all other views (hood, bonet, chase etc). Someone else had the same issue?
Same thing happening to me Flaviu. Looks like a bad rip of a track from the old Sim Raceway sim. I've tried a few other mods with this track. All of them exhibit the same in cockpit flickering.
Thank you Paul for your response Yes, all cars have the same problem on this track. I will try to drive with this flickering ... but ...
I've put on mediafire a working version of Donnigton. It's still the Simraceway track but maybe an earlier version or someone else has done in differently. All I know is there's no flickering. However the track limit violations especially at the chicane seem a bit tight. https://www.mediafire.com/file/d3syse5pb09lkri/AMS_Donington ParkSRW.rar Hope this helps but I can't race with the flickering very bad for my eyes
Also I've put up this version of Donnigton from a group called EEC. They've done a GT car mod which is worth looking at http://www.mediafire.com/file/dpqbwdazbi9vn9a/EECDonington.rar
I've just checked this both offline & online again and am not seeing any flickering at all. I'ts too late to change the track now, so I'll set the server for this race only to allow other driving views.
Waittttt, @Paul Anstey Tested a lot and flickering disappear at FOV over 29. At 30 everything is OK . Give it a try !!!!
It was a lucky observation. I just played with alternative views trying to find a good driving position, changing also FOV. And cycling through views BAM, in cockpit and clear picture. Than, was piece of cake. And a funny thing, I didn't noticed this for the first time only after a couple in/out from the cockpit
Good race (cool combo track-car) with fast clean pilots! thanks. cngrats to the winners and all participants!.
Almost missed the race because of the flickering problem. Thanks to Flaviu and tried his fix and with Default FOV the problem was gone Well done to the pods and all who took part
