How many drivers do you need for a thrilling race? Seems seven are enough although it is a shame because automobilista and this mod are really good fun.

Especially if there are four drivers nearly one tenth after quali. Well done to Csaba who took a shock pole in his last flying lap. In hindsight my decision to run only one set of tyres was questionable. But on the other hand I needed at least three laps to post a 1.05...
However I ended up fourth. I had a good start (this time no jump start) but little rub with Ramon. Sorry I had no idea that you were there, maybe that cost me a bit of momentum. At least I had no intention to risk it all at the first lap. Probably a wise decision because it was really tight into turn one bewteen the first four.

So Csaba, Jens then myself after lap one. Jens and I seem to have better pace than Csaba which made it crucial to pass him too. Needed some time but worked, fair drive from him hope he has more luck next time as he retired early again.
After that I could maintain (maybe even slightly reduce, a little lag did not help) the gap to Jens but he seemed in control all the time. He struggled a bit earlier with the tyres but this seemed nothing which endangered him. And my overcut was more about trying something different which did not work.

To my surprise in the middle part of the stint I got closer step by step, forced him likely into a mistake but could not benefit form it. Later I had a run on him but had to back out of it. But then he made the same mistake again into the hairpin. This time I could take the lead and drove it to victory. Thanks Jens for the nice battle, that laps in the end were really intense. Could also gone the other way round.

Hope for more drivers next time ;)

Oh and a short race highlight video, hope the quality is ok.

    Nice race tonight guys! :)

I was expecting a little bit more people but as previously said, 7 was more than enough. I had a bad start again (I don't know how to start fast with those cars, 1st gear produces a lot of wheelspin) and a little bit of momentum with Philipp, sorry mate I don't use virtual mirrors so my visibility of both sides of the car is pretty bad...
I don't know wich tyres the three guys on top were using but I was on softs, wich were really fast at the start of the race but dropped faster than expected.
Calm race because top 3 were faster than me and the other 3 drivers seemed to be slower, so more or less I was cruising trying to make the tyres last a stint until the pitstop.
Then my AMS went crazy, and for a lap showed me in the HUD that I was the leader (wich I really wasn't), that disturbed me, lost my focus and almost end crashed in a wall because of that!

In the final lap I had to slow my pace heavily because of torn tyres and extremely low fuel, but finally I could end 3rd so fantastic result for me!
See you in the next one, I love this AMS game!

    Great video Philipp!

This was an exiting race and close battle for pole, had an better time on my last flying lap but it's easy to make an minor mistake and loose those few parts of a second needed :)

From my point of view, clean first laps and I manage to overtake Csaba and build a small gap around 5-6s to 2nd, it lasted to the first pit stop. Had consistent laptimes with few mistakes but Philipp slowly got closer to be at my bumper with a few laps to go. Trailbraking to deep/hard into the slow corner and lost the rear, close one as seen on video .

Should have moved the bias but didn't, so the same hapend with 2 laps to go, and Philipp went by. With a lap time consistency of 99.22% and still only a gap of 1.8s to 1st there is not much room for mistakes :D

Great race, lets hope for a few more driver on next at Bathurst, that will be fun one
