Did my game crash or did the server explode again? Lol. EDIT. Nope my game crashed. Absolutely gutted Apart from my start I was having such a good race too. Not sure if I really want to carry on with this series. When I’m exhausted from work and make mistakes there’s zero issues. When I have a good race something goes wrong. Lol.
Sorry to see you go out Andrew, its a bummer for sure when you're enjoying it otherwise. But unfortunately its part of the landscape of online simracing as we all know and beyond our control most of the time. Try and not let it dampen your enthusiasm for it and look at it as something to enjoy as a respite from work!
yeah I get that mate but I haven’t had a single issue like that with RF2 ever, I think that’s why it annoyed me. I’m not naturally quick I and have to really work at being competitive. Not sure what happened. There was no error message or anything. The game just shut down and went back to desktop. Very odd. I've had maybe two issues with RF2 in 2000 hours of gameplay. Compared to loads of glitches with something like PC2 (but that’s probably normal anyway! Lol). Oh well. I tried rejoining just to get a finish but my wheel rotation was all wrong and I was having to do two turns to make the corners so I hope I didn’t get in anyone’s way. Anyway. Well done to the winners.
I had 3 crashes to desktop in 1 hour on the server, however the race was going well and I thought to go all the way, but 5 minutes from the end, was fourth, the game crashed again. with rf2 I'm never sure to finish a race ...
I wondered if you'd had the same problem as me, I saw your name go grey on the server timings. Sorry you had that issue. Really annoying. I had no warning at all the game just went back to desktop, no error messages or anything. It really hurts when you're having a good race as well. I was catching you towards the end and was looking forward to a good last lap battle too I really should've been ahead but on my pit in lap I got on the grass and lost 15 seconds or so. No damage but I lost too much time. The PC is new and all of a sudden it occurred to me this morning about saving replays so I'm going to make sure that is switched off just in case.
I've had issues in the past with FPS stutters, mini-freezes which seem to have been helped by turning of replay recording. It's a bit odd though as I never had problems with my old PC going back 5 yrs or more and it only reappeared since I got my latest PC 2yrs ago in concert with the latest S397 rF2 updates.

That is too bad Didier. Seems like I am always trying to catch you in each race and was again trying at Hungary. I don't think I would have caught you this time. My tire wear was terrible. Stopped twice. That was fun though. Most fun yet in these cars. Still have a lot to learn and need to spend more time testing those roll center adjustments.
